Have had af for around 12 years, under control with ameoderone and digoxin, just a few missed beats now and then, but the ameoderone stuffed my thyroid up, and I decided to have an ablation, 6 weeks ago, took it easy for a few weeks, gradually doing more around the house, but now 6 weeks from ablation heart has started to skip beats most days, specialist recommended pill in the pocket tablet, but was wondering is this all normal, and not sure when I can get increase doing things around the house as no one gives you a set plan for recovery
Thankyou

As I am sure you will have been told. it takes three to six months for the heart to heal properly so this is entirely likely. Try to avoid stressing as this will not help but why not ring your arrhythmia nurse for some comfort if you are worried . Stay well hydrated and listen to your body.
Hi Bob haven't got an arrhythmia nurse, and wasn't even told about a nurse you can ring up for advice, am I the only one or do other people not have a specialist nurse.
