I can really relate to your 24 Year thing. I’m about 30 years in now. Aged 64. Are you in permanent AF? I have been since 2001 since overdoing it at the Gym. Magnesium really helps. And I’m on Tildiem (Calcium Channel blockers). Had Digoxin for a year and it does help. As you say we often are own best doctors. 🤓

Sorry. I forgot to say whose post I was responding to below. Probably a brain fog moment. irina

hi there; look at my user name, and read my previous posts. mine really started in 1989 but ME / CFS became a more major concern.
I love reading posts like yours, Pippletalk. I'm starting my 8th year with a-fib and doing well. I think AF patients, especially newly diagnosed, need to read stories of patients who are still around and are now often able to treat their a-fib as a chronic, controllable illness. At least that's my case. Please work this '30 year info tidbit' into your posts often. I believe newbies can get so much peace of mind knowing this can be a long-term livable situation. Maybe we ought to have a club. With your 30 years, I nominate you for president. PS Forgot to post as a reply to Pippletalk.
