Does anyone know how often Digoxin levels should be tested? Consultant said that he would write to GP to get them to check but he has not done so ?

He had the protruding eyes of Graves Disease He had a reasonable response to antithyroid drugs but not so much to Digoxin and Frusemide . He just went slowly downhill over 2 weeks and died. His family had difficulty

Hi everyone, went into AF and landed up in A/E last Thursday, have been on 10mg bisoprolol daily for a while. I was given magnesium and metoprolol through a drip. I was told that if that doesn’t work they would start me on Digoxin. My question!! Is digoxin a safe drug and if anyone else is on it, did

New meds
Morning everyone.I have started 2 new meds as of yesterday, Digoxin and Apixaban. I am normally fairly robust when taking anything and haven't noticed many side effects previously when taking notorious meds like amiodarone. Since yeserday I have had a funny taste in my mouth and had an upset stomach

Problems after cardioversion
I had a successful cardioversion three days ago and I am still in sinus rhythm with a heart rate of 48. A year ago, I had breathing problems which were resolved quickly with digoxin. However, yesterday the breathing problems returned with my a tight chest, a choking sensation when walking and wheezing

DIGOXIN
Any thoughts on the drug Digoxin please. Currently my drug regime is not controlling my rates, resting rate should be 60 as set by my pacemaker but for the past 6 days it has been erratic, also finding that the diuretic I take is not dealing efficiently with my fluid overload. Due to see cardiac specialist

Persistent AF and Digoxin
Hi all, My dad had paroxysmal AF but since the beginning of June he has persistent AF. Holter monitor heart rate was between 65 and 149 for 24 hour monitoring. He also had an echo and has got a diagnosis of heart failure. On average his heart rate is over 100 most of the time. He was on flecanide but

Sinus Tachycardia after a bout of AF.
Currently in my local hospital having a second bottle of Digoxin. I had a five hour bout of AF yesterday afternoon which terminated on its own like it normally does. However, 45 minutes later, and unusually, it started again but this turned into a regular fast beat of around 122 bpm. 24 hours have now

Ablate and pace
I started with left sided atrial flutter which responded well to cardioversion and kept me symptom free for nearly two years. I have stage one heart block so when I started to get occasional further episodes I had a pacemaker fitted so my dose of Bisoprolol could be increased from 1.25mg to 5mg daily

Supposed inflammatory arthritis and fear of drug interaction with Apixzban , Digoxin and Losartan .
mitral valve repair in 2000, persistent AF i 2010. For past 5 years increasing joint pain . Diagnosed with multiple forms of Rheumatoid arthritis , Psoriatic, ankylosing, facet joint disease etc , now CPPD. Second different hospital contradicted the “rheumatoid” disgnosis and said I had Osteo arthritis

AF diagnosis
Hi I have been monitored because of the above diagnosis which is preventing me having an operation on my bowel. Unfortunately my heart rate and blood pressure are not stable enough to do the operation at the moment. The latest combo of drugs I'm about to try is Bisoprolol 1 tablet once a day plus
