Saw a new cardiologist today who prescribed 125mcg per day of digoxin. Ive been taking Flecainide 100mg x2 a day. Cardiologist was surprised I wasn’t taking it while on flec. Anyone have experience with it?

What sort of cardiologist, an EP? I don’t think Digoxin was ever suggested for me and I took Flecainide on it’s own and every other AF drug seemed to have been so can’t comment. Is your HR consistently high?
I use Kaiser Permanente in the USA, which is an HMO. They only refer patients to an EP for ablations. Doctor said Flecainide could trigger atrial flutter which necessitates the use of a beta blocker or an AV node blocker which is what Digoxin is.
Here (UK) you would probably be prescribed Bisoprolol or Diltiazem for the same reason. I was on Propafenone (same class as Flecainide) alone but eventually developed flutter.
I was put on 125 Digoxin to go with the Bisopralol I was on 6 weeks ago. I can't say I've noticed any side effects which is good as the Bisopralol bought more than enough of those
