Sneezy
Following AF hospital admission my husband has recently been discharged on Amiodorone, Digoxin and Candesartan - has been taking Warfarin since first diagnosed in 2016. He has to return in mid July to see the EP. Has anyone experienced explosive sneezing while taking any of the above, as he is 3 weeks

Queasy
Hi all, presently on apixaban, digoxin, adizam, and statins recently had a two lead pacemaker. 13 years open heart surgery for a mitral valve repair. My GP a few weeks ago gave frusemide, now feeling queasy, and a horrid taste in mouth. I have stopped frusemide today , my thinking is that’s the problem

Should I have been given an alternative to digoxin after successful cardioversion
Hi, Cardioversion successful yesterday but told to stop taking digoxin. I was only on apixaban and digoxin and on the digoxin for a little longer than 3 months having had problems with beta blockers and calcium blockers and now just on apixaban. Someone has suggested that I should on a beta blocker

Breathlessness
I have heart failure diagnosed October last year. I left hospital on Omeprazole, Frusemide. Isosorbide mononitrate, ramipril, Bisoprolol, digoxin, wRfarin and atorvastatin. All was ok until a couple of months ago when my GP noticed I had a cough and stopped the ramipril. She also said that I didn't need

Digoxin
I am possibly changing medication from Bisoprolol to Digoxin. I had a pacemaker fitted in March which has helped enormously with the pauses. My rates during are still very fast though and very frequent (daily). I tried a higher dose of bisoprolol (10mg) but it was causing my BP to become too low. Just

Problem with bisoprolol and/or digoxin
Looking at older messages I am somewhat dismayed that for about 6 months I have been prescribed 2 x 10mg bisoprolol alongside digoxin, before that I took "just" 10mg daily. I have had several visits to A & E and a month off work because of exhaustion, dizziness, generally unwell and a feeling of doom

Meds after ablation
I was on digoxin, eliquis and amiodarone for 1 month prior to my ablation. After the procedure I was taken off those 3 and left on metroprolol, is it a common thing to stop meds right after an ablation, I have been in a normal rhythm with a few pvcs/pacs and some palpitations!!

Finally off the meds!
Hi All I've finally been taken off the meds by my cardiologist, it's been three weeks now and I feel fine, although I've had the odd flutter. I was taken by blue light four times in 2017 with a bpm of around 200 at peak, on the final visit in August I had an Angiogram and was given the all clear. I

Spironolactone
I have had AF since 2013. I am on Apixaban (2x 5mg), Bisoprolol 10mg, Furosemide 20mg, Digoxin 62.5, Ranitidine (2 x 150 mg) and Spironolactone 25mg. I had been having abdominal/chest pains feeling exhausted so have an Angiogram booked in for June as Heart Failure seems to be on the cards. Plus

Have you had a pace and ablate?
Please help me. I have been booked in for a pace and ablate. I've had so many cardio versions I forget the number and three ablations, for one of which I hold the dubious honour of having the most burning. I take nobolovol, digoxin and a large doze of vilazem to hold heart rate down which hovers

My post op CABG 13 days experience
Just thought I’d let everyone know how thing are going. 13 days ago today I had my CABG x 3 & seemed fine, however my oxygen levels crashed & the only way to rectify this was a mask like a “Darth Vader” one. Delirious by then & totally unaware of anything my daughter said if I’d had boxing gloves I

Should I have stopped digoxin?
Hi all, I have permanent af and take low dose of flecainide and dabigatran. 3 months ago I was put on digoxin for a fast heart rate but I think this has caused me to have a very bad stomach, nausea, no appetite and very weepy so on Friday I decided to stop taking digoxin. Felt ok on Saturday but today

Headaches and AF
In the scheme of things, this is not a very important problem, but I have been increasingly getting headaches, which is new for me. My query: is there any particular food/diet element that could cause them? I have been on all my meds for quite some time - rivaroxaban and digoxin - one year +, metoprolol

Flecainide side effect control
Is anyone taking bisoprolol,, digoxin or any other rate control drug just because flecainide could cause a rapid heart rate? My BP and HR are already low due to exercise and Bisoprlol and other rate reducers drops my resting HR into the low 40s and I find the associated fatigue crippling so I won't
