Today’s EP visit (and our George)
I had a lovely visit with my EP today. He is very happy with how things are tracking 5 1/2 weeks post ablation, as am I. I’m staying on my medications for a while although reducing my Digoxin from three tablets per day to one. I’ll see him again in 3 months. A couple of months ago I shared a photo of

I have just been prescribed the above drug for neuropathy, 50mg twice a day. Have any of you with AF taken it? I am on Apaxaban, Digoxin, Bisoprolol and Amlodipine. I am reluctant to take this but other medications haven't worked and the discomfort I am experiencing, am willing to try anything. I

Hi I don't really know what to do next for my thyroid. See below for explanation. I have been frightened by developing atrial fibrillation on 26.03.19 and it's not stopped. It has changed in nature but I'm on medication so that might be why. My resting heart rate is around 100, never below 85. My normal

Higher heart rate after second ablation, despite being on flecainide & digoxin
Hello All. Should my heart rate to be higher 2 weeks after a second ablation, even though I'm on flecainide and digoxin? Would have thought the medication would keep it down.

Ablation ... one week on
This time last week I was back in my room in the CCU after ablation number 4. Now I’m feeling like I could go out and run a marathon (but I won’t 😉). Seriously though, I can’t believe how well I feel. I don’t know when the last time was that I had a week in normal sinus rhythm. I have tiny bruises

Conversion to NSR
Hi Everyone, I have been an avid follower of this forum ever since the beginning of my AF journey. Soon after being diagnosed with Afib I was fitted with a Pacemaker due to Syncope. After two failed ablations I finally had what we all thought was a successful RF ablation on 1st August last year.

Heart failure newbie
Hello, I was suddenly diagnosed with AF & heart failure having become unwell about 6 weeks ago, 2 weeks after retiring from business at age 73, having been extremely fit and active (though not a gym bunny) and busy with acting as carer for my wife who has MS and increasing needs. I am just getting mentally

I was diagnosed with AF last December, put on amlopidine, apixaban and digoxin. minimal doses. am getting very unbalanced, and tend to falling, and very lethargic and depressed. is this usual, due to over prescription for drugs, or simply age (86)? need reassurance that one day I'll be me again

A fib and heart failure
Hello! I’m a ‘young’ 65 year old female, have always been fit and healthy. Was diagnosed with A Fib, tachycardia and heart failure in May last year. I get breathless just walking a short distance and up the stairs. I take digoxin, Carvedilol, furesimide and an anticoagulant, I don’t like taking medicine

Ablation plus 3 weeks
Started to feel better 10 days after ablation, improvement continues but a lot slower than I had been led to believe by the EP, that said GP and Cardiologist say nothing unusual. Off Bisoprolol and digoxin for over 2 weeks, resting heart rate gradually increasing from 52 to 64 today, rate of increase

Good Afternoon. Has anybody been prescribed the above drug whilst on AF medication. I have just been prescribed it for burning feet and restless legs by my GP and collected this from the pharmacy today, and on reading the DO NOT TAKE SECTION, it says not if you have any heart rhythm problems. I rang

ABLATION PLUS 2 WEEKS
Started to feel a little better after 10 days, ventricular ectopics stoped but still feeling fragile at times. Can now go to supermarket and short walks. Bisoprolol and Digoxin now stoped for 9 days (only on Rivaroxiban), may still be feeling withdrawn symptoms in that I may be getting Atrial ectopics

I am still alive and kicking back.
Hello dear friends, thank you for all the lovely messages and support you have given me. Today I have started to feel a bit more human. Keeping out of anything else moving, just in case it hits me. One good thing has come out of my latest escapade, I have been giving some additional tablets to control

Ground Hog Day
Well I had 3 days of sinus rhythm (with a few minor bumps). I had a bad headache all day Sunday and Monday and then this morning woke up at 1.45 am in AFib and it hasn’t stopped yet, nearly 14 hours later. The Digoxin keeps it down to a manageable rate so I can cope okay. It probably hasn’t helped that
