GP Re: feet
Sorry to post again but I'm talking to my GP on Monday (my surgery is finally starting to open up a bit to regular appointments) and wondered if I should mention my feet. Basically they are permanently feeling cold. But sometimes they feel cold, but are not actually cold. Maybe a slight tingling? It's

Metformin
I have been on pred for almost three years and am currently at 7 mg. I have just been put on Metformin as my A1C is at 8.2. I’m having problems adjusting to the Metformin (high stomach acid and pains) Anyone else out there have similar issues. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Berberine Update 2022-06-26
EDIT March 17, 2024:
Today somebody shared a link to a two year old post of mine about a report on Berberine being neurotoxic and taking it off of my stack. Within a few months I found other information on Berberine and, using my High School educated brain, decided that Berberine definitely needed

LVDD (Left Ventricle Diastolic Dysfunction) - Diuretic/ARB
I am from India aged 51 yrs. I got my CABG done for single artery (LAD) 6 months back. Post surgery I developed breathlessness and could not walk out for two months. Though i consulted many doctors only one doctor gave me diuretic Torasemide 5mg and that helped me to walk as my breathlessness improved

Diabetes Too!
in addition to my PC I have Type II diabetes. The Zytiga/Prednisone is creating havoc with my glucose. Would any of you know if the time I take these meds worsens this problem?

I wonder what B1 as TTDF has done to my blood sugar levels
*** I ended up with High Blood Pressure taking TTFD. I no longer take TTFD. Based on my experience, I would not recommend TTFD. *** I wonder what B1 as TTDF has done to my blood sugar levels. I guess I'll have to wait till sept 8th my next appointment with GP to find out. If you are one that's only

newbie again.....warning long post!!
hi I've been on here for some time and not taken the first step to gain control....I've read loads and know what needs to be done but not put into practice. I've been trying to retire gracefully from my work as a podiatrist, the transition has been difficult. I'm coming up to my 69th birthday and

Gabapentin advice please
I have been on Pregabalin for 10 days and it worked well initially but today my GP has swapped me to Gabapentin initially 100 at night for a week. Does anyone have any advice as to what is the best time to take it - with evening meal or later? I’m worried about feeling weird before going to bed especially

Can B1 (Thiamine) improve B12 d as a co-factor (along with folate?)
Hi everyone I've been reading about the benefits of mega-dosing on B1 (Thiamine or Benfotiamine as a synthetic and more absorbed version). And I wondered if supplementing with high-dose B1 could accelerate B12d healing, particularly for any neurological issues or lingering nerve pain. B12, B9, B6 and

Tramadol + Gabapentin
I have been on 100mg Tramadol and 1200mg Gabapentin for about 8 years now (after all the DA’s and augmentation). This last year getting up once or twice a night has turned into 3+ times and some very bad evenings and I believe I have reached tolerance in Tramadol. I won’t increase above 100mg as I fear
