Calcium
I am at a loss about how the Calcium works but it only works in combination with either
DHea
or prenenalone. Ah I have noticed taking the Pregnenalone , I cannot tolerate any doses of
DHEA
as I come up with with a red face and a big rash around my neck.

menopause and hair loss without being hypo
I was also low in testosterone and
dhea
so I doubt it is DHT causing hair loss.

Has anyone taken DHEA supplements?
I've been reading a lot of books, blogs and articles around supplements and have read many times that 50g of
DHEA
should be taken daily for women over 35. I've also read up on the side effects and some of them are pretty scary, voice changes, hair loss and growth of facial hair!!

Stressed beyond belief
I was prescribed a slightly higher dose of
DHEA
and pregnenolone and after a few months off I was feeling great (I obvs really needed those hormones). And so we got this healthy 'looking' embryo last month (though the chromosome make up is yet to be judged).

Advice on adrenal and thyroid test results please
I’ve recently added 25mg 7 keto
DHEA
. I’m not on any thyroid support. My energy levels have improved slowly but surely over the past 3 years but I still feel “draggy” and unrefreshed in the morning when I wake up.

Fast pulse 106 bp 136/87 was on t3 5mcg and 50 mg Levo for 10 days then noticed overstimulated although felt good. Stopped T3 and Levo now.
Think I may need adrenal saliva
dhea
Test. Wondering whether to try t3 only but scared I will get high bp and pulse too high, t4 only gave me palps and sweats at 150 and put me over range. T3 gave me energy boost, but in combo with t4 both raised bp. But will t3 be better on own?

hyperthyroid symptoms?
My morning
DHEA
is too low at 0.16 (range 0.20 - 0.60) My GP has been increasing the NDT as the hypothyroid symptoms have persisted (joint and muscle pains, dry eyes, sleep problems, tiredness).

Dr Kendrick
I paid for my own adrenal testing and my cortisol is dangerously low along with
DHEA
. I was fainting regularly until I decided to buy hydrocortisone. Taking 20 mg of hydrocortisone has resulted in mostly normal temps for the first time in decades.

Adrenal fatigue and thyroid treatment
Hi all, I was diagnosed by Dr Peatfield a year ago with low cortisol,
DHEA
and poor thyroid function - probably as a result of the adrenals. I've been taking NAX 4 x daily for a year and T3 (20mcg) since July.
