Rebalancing hormones such as
DHEA
and testosterone through supplementation can help normalize immune response and reduce continued thyroid damage. Resolving deficiencies of important nutrients such as selenium and iodine may also prove highly beneficial.

Anyone understand high cortisol and DHEA
My
DHEA
levels are almost non-existent. My doctor has approved me to use
DHEA
(5-10 mgs) daily, but he was wish washy about it and said it coukd increase anxiety, which I can get from low thyroid. Would
DHEA
help bring down the high cortisol? Is it better to just concentrate on the thyroid first?

Low Androgen / Low DHEAS / Low Testosterone & a Benign Thyroid Nodule - Extreme Fatigue - Feel Like Death :(
Hi I would welcome any thoughts on my blood results as I have to wait 6 weeks before I see the Endocrinologist to discuss them. My hormone levels are outside the normal range (Androgen/testosterone/DHEAS) and they are continuing to fall. I feel like death! I have zero energy; my hair is falling out;

High RT3. T3/RT3 ratio 11.6. Would really like some advice.
I had my cortisol/
DHEA
checked recently and it was a good result. However I am not ruling out adrenal problems and will test again along with my sex hormones in the near future. Finally, should I be taking something to support my liver? Like milk thistle?

Vitamins and minerals I have been told are fine, have had high cortisol then low cortisol, also low
DHEA
. Presented pages upon pages of blood results to a naturopath who could give no reason as to why I am suffering, no name to any illness.
