Sugar Levels- Who decides the ranges?
The ranges of normal BS for Fasting, PP and Random look arbitrary. Also, there is something called 'Impaired Glucose Tolerance Level' before actual Diabetes? Can someone explain these?

I've got the results for over the past couple of years for my labs concerning possible thyroid related issues. A couple of months ago T4 Free [0.75-1.54 ng/dL]1.16 ng/dL TSH [0.47-4.68 mIU/L] 1.55 mIU/L Hgb A1c [4.0-5.9 %] 5.1 % WBC [4.8-10.8 x10(3)/mcL]4.5 x10(3)/mcL RBC [4.70-6.10

Hello. Got my grf from dr and says I went up 16 points in 4 weeks from 37 to 53 and my creatine from 1.48 to 1.10. Running grf in another 5 Weeks and say they think it was the dye I had from my surgery 3 weeks prior to bw and behind dehaydred. My glucose went from 87 to 100 and she wants me to watch

HI ALL! On W coast USA. Dx hypothroid on welcome to Medicare exam by blood work w/TSH 12.4. Asymptomatic! No other health issues , no other meds. No known drug allergies. Put on levothyroxine and nxt 8 months was sicker than in last 20 years w/ ear infection, ocular migraines, bladder infections, rashes

Hi, just had an NHS medical and need help reading results please. Not thyroid tests just general health though I told the nurse I was starting self medication with T3 as doctor refuses to treat me as my TSH is only 5.9 :( The nurse also included a renal profile and a Plasa fasting glucose level.
