Dermatomyositis
, Sjorgren's and a string of other ailments . I had my first infusion 4 July , second one 18 July I was told at the time that I tolerated it quite well as I understand some people don't . So far I have not felt any benefit , in fact I feel worse at the moment.

RD vs. Dermatomyositis
Has any one of my good friends here been tested/diagnosed with
dermatomyositis
? I have always wondered if my RD diagnosis was off target, especially being sero-negative.

Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism and Dermatomyositis
I should be interested to hear from anyone with experience of
dermatomyositis
associated with Hashimoto's hypothyroidism and what the longer term prognosis may be. I am 69 and male.

Headaches
I have a diagnosis of lupus cross over with
dermatomyositis
and I'm taking azathioprine, hydroxychloroquine, cyclizine and omeprazole. Just a bit worried because I wasn't expecting any of this!!

Hello there, does anyone have
dermatomyositis
? I am awaiting my blood test results and skin biopsy to find out if I have MCTD and just wondered if there is anyone with similar symptoms? I also have Raynaud's phenomenon.

Dermatomyositis anyone?
I also showed him pics of redness on my knuckles and asked him whether it can be
dermatomyositis
(DM). He agreed that it can be but secondary to lupus, the way he said it was 'overlapping symptoms'.

dermatomyositis is it related to lupus?
He thinks it's
dermatomyositis
! Is this related to Lupus? My husband has told me to stop worrying or I will make myself more ill also feel I'm blaming myself for passing these illnesses to them. How can I rationalise this to myself? :(

Any Coeliacs out there with Dermatomyositis
I am currently in remission from
Dermatomyositis
, which is an autoimmune condition which affects the skin and muscles. It can be extremely debilitating (and life threatening) when not controlled which, thankfully, mine is at the moment.

My Story
When I saw my old Dr he was furious that I had seen someone else, he disagreed with all of the diagnoses I had, I cant have lupus as I dont have the dsdna anti body, I cant have
Dermatomyositis
as I havent had a muscle biopsy etc He admitted that he knew for 5 years that I had anti-phospholipid syndrome
