Post Birth control support group
After failing to find support and guidance with my health issues after coming of the contraceptive injection I have decided to create a Facebook group for the ladies of the UK. This is a place where we can share stories and support and guide each other to recovery. If anyone is interested in joining

Would appreciate some input on newest labs!
I went to the lab two weeks ago and got my results today (seeing hormone doctor later this week). I feel quite confused and I'd really appreciate some feedback on them (long post!) I have been on 5 grains of Thyroid-S for the past two years. Last year, I even tried raising it after labs came back: TSH

Groin pain flare = inflammatory arthritis?
I was seeing my rheumy nurse the next week so she gave me a
depo
-
medrol
injection. About 2 weeks ago it happened again, but much shorter duration. It came on and was over within about 24 hrs, but was the same hip, same pain and same experience generally.

Glioblastoma diagnosed: tapered, stopped Medrol
Hi, i was on Medrol for 3 months, diagnosed with glioblastoma. After radiation of 6 weeks, the Medrol has been tapered and stopped. I feel tasteless, very weak, have headaches, fever, depression and much more. It has been 2 days after stop. Can I take dolo 650 for this?

Lupron injection treatment - what side effects to expect?
Hi! I'm 28 and will be starting the Lupron injection treatment this week. I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with this and if so, what side effects have been experienced? My backstory... I was diagnosed with endometriosis at the end of May after undergoing emergency surgery to remove a 7.5cm

Depo provera
Hello I am 25 years old and I am going in for a bone density test tomorrow along with bloodwork. I did not have any idea the possible side effects Depo-Provera had. I have been on the injection for over four years and thought it was great. rarely had any bleeding and did not gain any weight or feel nauseated

Overactive bladder
It is my husband who has Parkinson's, but i see many of you Parkies have over active bladder. The medication cost of Detrol LA,capsules, or it's generic, tolterodine tartrate, is very expensive, I figured it is about $5 a pill. I can't get along without it unless i want to be up 7 times a night to the

Nutri Adrenals - feedback wanted
I realise there have been many posts written on this subject, but thought it preferable to start a new one: I have been wondering if I should try Nutri Adrenals as it seems (this is how interpret previous posts here) that they actually help heal the adrenals? I was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue back

RECURRING PMR SYMPTOMS OR ANOTHER CONDITION?
I began weekly
depo

medrol
injections for PMR on August 25, 2016, and have been tapering since November 15. Two weeks ago my daily dose dropped to an estimated 2.0 mg and I experienced 4 consecutive days with stiffness in my hands and mild-moderate shoulder pain.

Medrol
Hi :) In two weeks, I'm going to start taking Medrol (methylprednisolon), corticosteroid, due to my liver problems. My hepatologist told me that I will be on 32 mg at start but then during 2 months I will be geting down to 4 mg, and then I'm supposed to be on 4 mg for 6 months. Does someone have experience

2nd half-dose Ocrevus Infusion Completed
As many of you following Ocrevus news and experiences are aware, the first 600 mg. dose of Ocrevus (ocrelizumab) is divided into two half-doses spaced two weeks apart. I posted earlier about my first infusion ("Ocrevus - Tomorrow's the Day"), and yesterday I completed the second infusion installment.

Face rash - anything besides the sun??
Hi all! Tossing this out there b/c I've become really frustrated with both my rheumy and my dermatologist. They are both really great but beyond saying "yeah, that's the rash" they are soooo not helpful. No matter how much sunscreen I put on (I do all over body and at least three layers on my face +

New to Humira - curious if others had similar experience?
Good morning, fellow warriors. I wish mine WAS a good morning, but not so much. I should start out by saying I DO plan to talk to my rheumy on Monday, but since it's the weekend and I have to wait for his input, I thought I'd seek some comfort here - if nothing else, knowing I'm not alone helps! Took

Pain while on Depo Provera
I have been on the Depo Provera injection for just over a year. After some perseverance, I thought it's the best thing I've had. However for the past 2 weeks I have had that dull endo pain, all in the same places where my pain was coming from prior to my lap in 2012. The last 4 days the pain has been

Steroid induced Shingles?
Hi everyone, I'm new here and am wondering if anyone else has experienced Shingles as a result of Steroids? I was diagnosed about 18 months ago with seropositive RA. I take MTX and Hydroxychloroquine. I had an initial Depo-Medrone jab to help until the drugs kicked in. All was well until I had a bad
