Good Times Bad Times
It’s been tough over the last few days, unfortunately my old friend Mr Susan (head jerking tic) is back and I’ve been trying to squash him with a slow nod in addition to this I’m still battering my poor leg but on the plus side about 8 out of 10 hits have been stopped using the new competing response

Follow up to initial hospital appointment
Had a good meeting with the Rheumatologist at hospital on Tuesday - although only saw her for a few minutes - most of my examination was carried out by a Rheumatology Physio! Have been advised to have a one off injection of Depo-Medrone to hopefully stop the RA from spreading. I have now booked this

It’s Saturday night, I should be out having fun, but I’m not, far from it. With regards to my mental health I always seem to struggle with the weekends, I’m not sure why this is, it’s probably the onslaught of really awful so called entertainment programmes on TV so therefore I’m left with my own thoughts

“I’ve got this terrible cold coming on He grabs and devours Kicks me in the showers” The Headmaster Ritual – The Smiths
The terrible cold has arrived but strangely enough my tics are having a rest, no more slapping or thumping myself. This cold has brought with it a big black cloud of misery, just hanging over my head. (is it just us Smiths fans who have the monopoly on misery?) I can’t think of anything that might cheer

I had my Depo-Medrone injection at my GP's this afternoon. First thing he asked me was had the hospital given me a needle to bring with me as they don't keep that size in stock! Secondly he had to telephone the Rheumatology department at the hospital because they hadn't told him what doseage to

change of pain relief.
Two weeks ago my gp took me off targinet pain relief as it was sending me loopy. He put me on marol and kept my steroids at 20mg. It has taken that long to get into my system. I thought i was getting on really well, i was managing to do things round the house and felt that pain was now under control.

Newly diagnosed and about to start methotrexate
Hello Everyone, I last posted on here about a month back when I was awaiting a referral to the Rheumatologist. I had the appointment to see the Rheumy Dr a few days after the posting with an appointment date for November 29th!!! I sort of panicked (was in quite a lot of pain) as I thought that the
