Sleep Apnea and RLS
I have reduced my ropinorole from 10 mg down to 2 1/2 mg and still reducing. My RLS Doctor recommended a sleep study which diagnosed sleep apnea. Anyone else have Rls and sleep apnea. I’ve had some issues with sleep but was shocked to get this diagnosis.

Here’s the company description: "MicroVita® Focus provides 6 clinically proven probiotic strains, each with clinical support for maintaining proper dopamine and serotonin regulation as well as absorption of essential nutrients. Three prebiotics were included to nourish these specific probiotic strains

Prolia vs Zometa
For 3 years I was on Eligard/Xtandi and was receiving Prolia to help keep bone health. All good, undetectable. Then an 18 month vacation, which I am coming off of. All treatment to be the same as before, except th MO wants to change from Prolia to Zometa. Anyone use both of those, Prolia and Zometa

meds and sleep apnea
I have severe RLS and I have had 2 at home sleep studies done. I was taking methadone when I had the first one done and it said I had mild obstructive sleep apnea. The second at home sleep study was done just recently and during this test I was on gabapentin. This test also said I have mild obstructive

Losing weight is a bleak process. There is nothing positive in terms of actual performance. In other words, it feels like it's all about losing something, rather than adding to it. Weight loss is about caloric deficiency and as such it means restriction of diet. A contraction of menu which is about eliminating

A revelatory month
Last day of the month. It's been topsy turvy. I started in in a place of plateau, weight fluctuating back and forth. Many heart to heart chats with my PT on well beaten paths of conversation. Physical progress was good, I worked hard on my gym sessions, I certainly didn't shirk. However on the eating

A fortnight is a long time ... 🤔
A fortnight is a long time in weight loss. It isn't enough time to achieve your goals but it's long enough to derail you. The last 2 weeks have not gone well. I think it's not a stretch of the imagination to draw inferences from the last entry to this one. After much hype, fanfare and self aggrandizement

help doesn't feel available
I've been depressed since I was 9 years old and my entire life I've been trying to seek help. My parents dismissed me and very few teachers took me seriously. I had a few counselors in my youth but nothing stuck and my mental illness got more severe. At 13, I was unable to leave the house and care for

The Role of Gut Microbiome in Sleep Quality and Health: Dietary Strategies for Microbiota Support
Here's an interesting article on the relationship between gut microbiome and sleep for those who are interested in this topic. It's not specific to RLS but does mention sleep disorders generally. https://www.mdpi.com/2072-6643/16/14/2259#:~:text=Consequently%2C%20it%20is%20proposed%20that,prolonging

Psychiatrist #2 (update)
I think it went okay this time. Ignoring the anxiety and paranoia that is telling me it didn't, I talked a lot more (and maybe a little too much but I am sure they are used to that from other patients). I am now going on Zoloft, as Wellbutrin was doing super terribly for me. I now am also trying a medicine

Very interesting. I have not heard of terazosin, doxazosin, and alfuzosin Does anyone have knowledge or experience with them? How do their side effects compare? What are their on label and off label uses?

Can't keep my eyes open!!!
The fatigue is really getting to me at the moment. I feel so groggy and whenever I sit down, my eyes get heavy and I just fall asleep. I honestly feel like I'm 37 going on 87. I can even be sat with a cup of tea or coffee, doze off and wake up to it tipped all over me. Likewise I've fallen asleep eating

Has anyone tried Celadrin or Glucosamine Sulphate for Fibro?
Hi, I recently read an article about someone with fibromyalgia who said Celadrin cream really helped them with their stiff muscles. I then did some reading of my own about it and found that celadrin works best when combined with glucosamine sulphate. Has anyone tried either of these for their fibro?

Pneumococcal vaccine
Hello everyone I recently turned 65 and was invited to get the current pneumococcal vaccine (against 28 strains, I think). Has anyone had this vaccine and subsequently had Afib problems? I had it on Friday, felt very tired, a bit shaky on Saturday and am currently in Afib in the early hours of Sunday
