Recovery from craniotomy/meningioma
Hi all, my boyfriend had a meningioma removed in September 2014. All is well in that they got the tumour out and it has been confirmed as benign. The tumour was on his left, so the right side of his body is weakened. On the whole he is recovering well but his tirendess/fatigue levels have not improved

74 year old in hospital with subdural haematoma
I don't know if anyone can help but my husband was sent to Queens Medical Centre Nottingham after going to A and E in Leicester Monday night. They operated on Wednesday and it seems to have gone well. The OP says he does need some help/supervision re cooking. However, I am very worried about having him

One was scheduled for this Friday, cancelled and re booked for July 19th, now cancelled again and is now on 4 October, almost a year to the day from his initial collapse. He has

My Husband....my stranger....
I know we are all individuals....and brain injuries are different (not least in the way that they affect and impact us all differently). However, I wanted to share a little part of my story. I am 43, my husband of 15 years is 53. We were both business leaders in different sectors, he was exceptional

Running water/cold sensation over the brain
I was thinking the other day of the strange physical feelings I had running over the top of my brain and down the back of the skull. They started after my craniotomy operation to clip the Aneursyms in the brain 18mths ago. They stayed with me for 6 mths coming and going. It was like a cold sensation

I met my husband when I was 15, soullmates and the best of friends, we were married in Sept 2009 and had the most amazing wedding on a beach abroad. You never know what you are going to come up against in your married life, and commit to eachother in sickness and in health. My husbands 30th bday came
