What to do now ?
Hello, I have been on a 2mg Neupro patch for the last 6 months. It has been working well except for the last 4 nights where I fear may now be the start of augmenting. I have had restless legs for a few years now, it became exacerbated last year after a craniotomy for a brain tumour. I have always taken

My husband had a stroke on the 23rd, he went into the hospital able to talk and move his right side and starting to regain the ability to move left side. He was admitted. Next day they did a TEE test where they say his throat became occluded and the had to incubate him. Afterwards still could follow

Dizziness After Surgery
Dizziness After Surgery I had a craniotomy suboccipital surgery performed on June 12th to remove an acoustic neuroma. When I got out of surgery, which lasted 10 hours I felt great. I was a little unsteady on my feet and of course, my head was sore and I had pains on the side of the neuroma. I was released

Post neurological / craniotomy immune system is not the same
I am hoping someone else can relate to what I am thinking and hopefully provide some insight. Since a long craniotomy operation 3 years ago which was to fenestrate a cyst which was squashing my optic nerve I have noticed that I catch more colds despite a healthy lifestyle and supplements and the two

Brain Haemorrhage recovery
Hi 5 weeks ago my 39 year old boyfriend suffered a massive intracerebral haemorrhage on the front right side of his brain. He was given a craniotomy to remove the bleed. He was in icu for 3 weeks and in an induced coma for 2 of those. He was given a less than 50% chance of survival. The doctors believe

I have not posted in a while, and it is because of cancer, but not mine. My kid brother, 60 years old, collapsed on January 25th and went to the emergency room. A CT scan illuminated a grapefruit-size mass in the area of his right frontal lobe, and he was transferred to Jefferson in Philly. He had an

Help! Sorry if this is long!!
Hello all. I’m new here although I should have come here many years ago. In 2014 I had a grade 3 sub arachnoid haemorrhage. I had vasospasm after this event which robbed me of my vision. It became double. It righted itself a few months later though and I was just left with a really irritating stutter

This is my first post following my TBI. My husband joined the forum shortly after I suffered my TBI so I am using his log in to post my story and to thank the many that post their stories on this site. It gave my husband immense encouragement, I have just read many of the posts and survivors stories
