Very far reaching effects from brain injuries I am realising and experiencing I've had problems with my legs since my sah in 2015. I have fibromyalgia much worse since then too and not sure why so many leg issues and walking very difficult. Will watch replies with interest.

Thanks Kathy for sharing I hope to hear more replies too x

I had an SAH 14 weeks ago and has horrendous pain and leg spasms. Physio gave me exercises but didnt help. Consultant said it was due to the bleed and prescribed meds. It went away after 3 weeks when the irritation from the bleed subsided. Maybe seek advice to help with your pain. Also heat and ice help with lower back pain but I would mention it to your doctor or consultant. Good luck x

Hi,

I'm 2 half years on from my bleed and still have uncomfortable legs. I'm still learning my independent walking as my poor balance effects this progressing more quickly. I get that feeling you get after cramp in the calf. Or if you been on a long haul flight and the calfs feel swollen. My lower back in the early day was particularly sore but has eased away now. I couldn't sit for to long. I'm not much help it's more a case of it happens to others and you not alone. When I have mentioned this to specialists they don't have much advice on it, more a case of they don't know.... Someone on here may have some sound advice for you. I will keep a check as it maybe helpful to myself 😊 good luck with it all, hopefully you will find a solution

Thanks very much you have hit the nail on the head with everything, even after cramp in the calf etc . I will update after mri and my visit with my neurosurgeon on the 4th of February. I hope you find comfort soon .

Sharon x
