Having had a heart attack a couple of months back , i am reluctant to take my painkillers , four being Naproxen , Co-codamol, Pregabalin and Duloxetine , have just come off Ibuprofen , my doctor thinks it is a bad idea to take the Ibuprofen and Naproxen because it affects the heart , i doubt there is

Back to square one
So i had a bad reaction to ‘pregabalin’ (which was not making a difference to my pain anyway!) ‘gabapentin’ no success either. Last one i have to try on the pain specialist’s advice is ‘duloxetine’ but it’s part of the same family as the previous 2 drugs so I’m not holding my breathe. I am currently

Occipital Neuralgia & constant neck stiffness
For over a year now I’ve had chronic burning head neuralgia at the back of my head - either side of top of head, behind my ears & a constant feeling like I’ve been smashed by a baseball bat ! I also have tinnitus/hypercusis & pain behind my forehead & eyes ! I’ve tried the nerve block & it did absolutely

Intro and little rant 😬
Hi lovely peeps, I'm Dawn and new to this group. I was diagnosed in 2018 with Fibro, suffered a couple years before being diagnosed. It's such a horrible thing to have, aswell as being frustrating in all aspects. I dont have one specific area of pain, as I get a surprise every day as to where I'm

Levelling
I am now getting really fed up with how I am feeling. I am now into my 20th week of upping to 125 sertraline. Have had some really good weeks. Last week had five food days but this week gone down hill again. Someone has suggested that if you switch from one SSRI to another it can take twice as long to

Duloxetine and false negative pregnancy test
I recently missed my p and have all the symptoms of pregnancy but a home test came back negative. I also have Crohn's so avoiding public places due to covid 19 so nervous about contacting my doctor. Can taking duloxetine cause a false negative? I read that some antianxiety medication can but can't

Paroxetine withdrawal / Sertraline start.
Hi fellow sufferers, I have been suffering with clinical depression on and off for many years. Since 2000 I was prescribed Paroxetine. In fact mostly it worked for me, but being one who hates the idea of popping pills I've tried on occasions to reduce the dose. This time last year I was on 30 mg daily

Duloxetine from Paroxetine to prozac
My psychiatrist put me on 120mg of Duloxetine from 20mg of Paroxetine. I want to go on Prozac instead and have some control over dosages. Anyone experienced this?

Trying to level on sertraline
I have gone from taking paroxetine to sertraline last August and have recently upped to 125 but don’t seem to be able to level. Someone has suggested that when you go from one SSRI to another it takes double the time to level so instead of 12 weeks it can take 24 weeks has anyone got any views on this

Teva and Paroxetine interaction
Hi All, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism last October. I've been taking Teva Levothyroxine, gradually moving up to 100 mcg. Had some side effects, but nothing like those I'm experiencing on 100. I've still not brought my TSH into range, so originally put this down to hypothyroidism symptoms. But
