So i had a bad reaction to ‘pregabalin’ (which was not making a difference to my pain anyway!) ‘gabapentin’ no success either. Last one i have to try on the pain specialist’s advice is ‘duloxetine’ but it’s part of the same family as the previous 2 drugs so I’m not holding my breathe. I am currently on nothing for the pain..I don’t want to go back onto oramorph (as I’ve been on it for last 5+ years) but i also cannot continue in this daily pain. I don’t know what to do or who to turn to. Im sick of living each and every day in constant pain.

What’s the plan for surgery? Assuming you are taking these drugs from endometriosis pains.
Yes for endo pain. I’ve had 5 surgeries in 4 yrs. All unsuccessful and Consultant said he’s not willing to operate anymore in the future. My GP has referred me for a 2nd opinion.
I’m aiming to get a private appointment with the pain consultant who is part of the BSGE team, I’m still waiting for them to have their MDT meeting. Thought I’d move things on myself (again 😡)
The pain nurse put me on Tramadol to try the other week at A&E.
I’m potentially going to aim for a nerve block, don’t really want anymore injections, but desperate.
Hope you can get help soon
