Anxiety and depression

Hello I have severe anxiety and chronic depression and my doc wants to take me off escitalopram and put me on propranolol and paroxetine, does anyone else take these meds as I just wondered what the pro,s and negatives were

There will be pros and cons with any medication. I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. Every medication does different things for different people. It’s a trial and error process.

When it comes to medications we are all different, If your Doctor feels a change in medication will help remember your Doctor is in partnership with you to make you better. Always follow His Instruction

I’m sure your doctor is changing them for a reason, ask him/her if your curious. Your an autonomous human being and capable of making informed decisions and your doctor works for you not vice versa so make sure to raise concerns and stay informed. I’ve never once been on a medication without knowing everything about it before hand.
