Feeling poorly.
Feel so unwell, I have finally found a pharmacy that stocks North Star levothyroxine, as Teva, Actavis simply don't suit me. When I spoke to the pharmacist at Boots she produced a brand called Almus or something along those lines. All good until she checked the information leaflet and we were both shocked

Iron deficiency again?
I'm not sure if I'm correct but it looks my recent results indicate iron deficiency again (lab tech put borderline next to iron status). Here are results: * Full blood count * Total white blood count 4.4 10*9/L [4.2 - 11.2] Red blood cell count 4.94 10*12/L [3.73 - 4.96] Haemoglobin concentration

B12 causing yeast infection?
Hello 😊 I’ve recently been diagnosed with pernicious anaemia and been having injections weekly for a month and now just monthly. I’m just wondering if anyone can see a trend between vaginal yeast infections and the use of b12. Mine is quite bad to the point where tissue is ripping and I’d like to know

nature throid ineffective
Hi all-Curious if anyone else has had problems with nature throid (1 grain) this past year. I did seem to do better on armour but they are supposed to be the same. Could just be me but my tsh went up, t3 went down after being stable for several months. Tried Tirosint 112 mcg recently and gained 5 pounds

Please can I have some help with blood tests
I have looked at the graph for over 15 years posted patient access. It’s the first time I have got into normal range for second 3 things. I have introduced T3 and been gluton free for 1 year. My belief is that is the reason, blessings because of this forum , White count. 3.89. Range.

Anaemia
Happy New Year to you all! I'm wondering if anybody out there takes an iron supplement for iron deficiency anaemia? I have cirrhosis and have been diagnosed with anaemia. My GP has just prescribed 2 x 250 mg daily. At what level does iron become toxic for the liver? I'd be grateful to hear from anyone

PA (percnais SP? anemia? She has OK b12 and low iron. Why?
Sorry to be so uninformed but I thought the PA (can't spell the type of anemia) could be from low b12 EVEN THOUGH it tests normal (the b12 I mean). My daughter has been low on iron for a long time. Iron pills don't work and cause extreme constipation. She was given an infusion of iron...we're waiting

Further Advise please on low iron symptoms
GP says iron ferritin (from blood test) is low (I had a 32 days bleed from a colcoscopy procedure on my cervix to remove abnormal cells that made me have like a very heavy period for so long and also had an infection from the procedure, finally the bleeding stopped just over a week ago) my iron ferritin

After 26 years, bloods are still a puzzle?
Here is a blood test from yesterday. I've been from T4 only, for 25 years, to T3 only, for 3weeks, to, now, 50 mcg of T4 and 30 mcg of T3. I began having problems six months ago with Levo while I was removing all traces of processed sugar from my diet. I had been on .88 mcg of Levo for 25 years and

An understanding GP
I was first diagnosed with high THS two & a half years ago, I was prescribed 25 mg, after 12 months a blood test showed the THS had dropped, but I had anaemia, something I have never had. I had a gastroscopy and endoscopy, neither revealed a problem. As I had read that reducing THS (or a low one) could
