Should I push for a dose increase?
Hello lovely, helpful people on here. I haven’t posted for quite a while, as I have thought that I feel sort-of ok, but I’m wondering if I should settle for that? I still struggle with brain fog (but nothing like as bad as it was), anxiety attacks and depression, although I seem to cope with them better

Just one more thing!
Hi all I have finally started my levothyroxine, and I am off on my hols tomorrow. I fly at 5am so have to be at the airport at 3am, and I think I'm tired now. I just wanted to ask a couple of questions regarding taking my levo and supplements. I have opted to take my levo at 6.45- 7.00am so I know not

Still no idea what is going on with my daughter. Am at a loss as to what to do now. The only thing that has come up high is her Erythrocyte sedimentation rate is high 17mm range (1.0 - 12.0) The doctor requested a full thyroid check but it wasn't done as her TSH came back as 0.75 (0.38-5.33) she is not

Advice on what to ask Dr Toft
Hi I'm seeing Dr Toft next week. Looking for advice on questions to ask etc as I tend to go into gibberish mode. After seeing my recent results he said my levels were excellent! He doesn't seem concerned re my high antibodies and had spoken to my GP about stopping my T3. I'm struggling with swallowing

Best form of iron medication for the fastest results.
Hi people, I'm currently taking liquid iron with a vitamin C capsule but my iron level is slow to respond. I read that heme iron was the fastest absorbed iron. Does anyone have experience of taking iron and can advise on how to get best results. Many Thanks

Has anyone tried Thyro Active?
They sell porcine and bovine and amounts of T3 and T4 are listed. The only filler is rosehip powder which will supply vitamin C, so it looks like a good product. https://www.regenerativenutrition.com/shop-product.asp?prod=220

Would you give me thyroid meds with these results?
Hi, I've just had an appointment with an endo and he told me to go back to my GP as my symptoms are not related to underactive thyroid - he said he only looks at TSH and would only consider meds if it was over 7 and that all other thyroid markers are irrelevant. Can anyone take a look at my most recent

What to expect?
So after my recent blood tests done on medichecks I visited my doctor. He decided to run some more tests which I don’t have the results of, but my antibodies were still high and my ferritin level although in range low. He’s put me on iron 3 times a day and referred me to see an endocrinologist. I’m just

Elevated CRP
Well, the good news just continues. After finding out via email that I have ckd I finally set down to look at the rest of my results. My C-reactive protein test seems to be extremely elevated at 12.8. Could this be because of my kidney disease?? Cholesterol number are fine. Tryglicerides just a little

Iron tablets
Right ok. I’ve been put on iron tablets and I’m 10 days in. I’m taking them with vitamin c. I’ve also stopped taking lansoprazole and introduced cider vinegar tablets. My question is what can I now take to help me go to the toilet as I haven’t been able to go regularly since starting iron and coming

Blood results
Hi all. As per first post I am newly diagnosed with Hashimotos. I take 125 mcg Levo, still have fatigue, muscle aches, eczema. Any idea when this will improve. I had my dose increased 3 weeks ago and I was diagnosed with hypothyroid in 2013 before the Hashimotos was found. I seem to have a bit of rheumatism
