Neutrophils part 2

Spoke to my oncologist today. My day 9 of cycle 2 Ibrance came back at 1.7

He said that was a good number. They like to see a minimum of 1.5

He also thought it was strange I was at .9 during day 7 of my break. He doesn’t know why that was but said I could continue w 125 mg dosage.

I also did a vitamin C IV yesterday. It’s not through my cancer center. Since the diagnosis, I’ve done 1-2 times per month. But I did skip it last month since I was traveling a lot. Still feel good, no mentionable side effects.

Have you tried getting B12 shots once a month for some added enegy>

No, I haven’t but this IV has high dose C, B complex, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and a couple others. The C is like 25 units. But I know other places that do 12 or 50 of the C as well. Must be the B complex that gives me a good energy boost for a couple days. I didn’t connect that until you asked. 😊

This is interesting to me. I do get a b12 once a month and do believe that has given me added energy my second through the fourth month of Ibrance.

But I am interested in the infusion you are getting. Who suggested and where do you get it? I am assuming not from your basic oncologist.

No, not from my oncologist. I read a lot of stuff on chrisbeatcancer.com and many say they did vitamin C IVs. Most there don’t do conventional meds but I just believe in complementary.

Also, there is a free 140 page ebook on cancertutor.com that preaches about a two step approach to stage 4. First, build the immunity...then second start your “battle”. Says that many people forget that immunity comes first.

I don’t know where you’re located but there are lots of IV therapies in Nevada, Arizona, California and Philadelphia.

I'm in the DC area. I will look into this. I also believe in complimentary meds. U see a Chinese doctor who gives me a liquid formula and some pills to boost my immune system.

Have you had any problems with low blood pressure on Ibrance/Femera? M BP is normally on the low side anyway but today I was exhausted and BP was 87/58. Not that far from my norm at 90/60 but lately, I have been closer to 110 or 114 over 58 or 60. It was an effort to do anything or get up today. I have been off my heavy water drinking the past two days which doesn't help. But wondering if the drug does any of that? I haven't looked it up as yet.

How long does your infusion take? Is it a naturopath that administers the infusion?

Thought I answered. Sorry for delay. Blood pressure seems fine. I’m usually like 110/70. It takes about an hour for the IV. They have a couple different “cocktails”. They have like detox ones that look beneficial too. Heard that can help rid of the dead cells. I’ve only done the immunity boost one.

Snowcone16 thank you for talking about the Vitamime c IV. I was thinking of that as well. No problem interfering with the Inrance? And have you seen a difference as far as killing the cancer yet! What are they telling you, if you don’t mind sharing. Thank you

Ask away. It makes me feel good to talk about it. I started the Vitamin C IV after the diagnosis on January 30. I do about 1-2 times per month. I haven’t had any rescans yet.

I think it keeps my numbers good because the unseen side effects of medicine aren’t always visible. I did have the low neutrophils but I went about 4 weeks without C therapy because of vacation and travel. Now I’m at 1.7 neutrophils mid cycle.

Also, my energy is good. That could be a combination of things w IV therapy and juicing. ❤️

Glad to hear it makes you feel better, I can relate, I feel the same. Keep us posted on how you are doing when you have scans done. It sounds like you are tolerating inrance which is great news. Any issues with noticeable hair loss, that is what is troubling me now.

I think it’s early for me still. I heard Ibrance has cumulative effects. The texture has changed a little but it may be the medically induced menopause. I think it’s receding in the corners of my forehead somedays.

I’ll definitely post on results. ❤️
