Maximising levadopa efficiency
Hi all. I have a off/on relationship with levadopa. Sometimes it works really well, other times doesn’t work at all. I think it has to do with absorption in my gut. I know all about protein and empty stomach etc....I’m more curious about gut microbes that may interfere with absorption. Does anyone have

Augmentation hit my body hard. The pramipexole was making the RLS worse. After 3 years of taking 1mg once a day I stopped, cold turkey. I do not recommend the sudden stop! For three nights it was hellish. Bizarre behavior, intense symptoms and unrelenting misery were my companions on those three nights

Understanding test results
Can anyone explain what these results mean? I’m just compiling a letter to my gp as I feel I never have time and forget things when on the phone and I didn’t understand a few bits from my last test. Tissue transglutaminase 1gA level(XaJg2) 0.6 u/mL (0.0 - 10) test outside Skopje of UKAS accreditation

Dos’ & Don’ts’ for CLLers.
I’m a bit apprehensive about this post, but it’s about a wish list of dos and don’ts that dummies like me would cherish. It would be great if people in the know of things would build up on something like this. Perhaps segregating this wish list into W&W group and Treatment group may also be considered

Levodopa/Carbidopa and vitamin C
I am sorry if this was previously discussed but I couldn't find it anywhere. I was told to take my L/C with Emerg-C but I just can't get it down. Can I take it with an Ascorbic Acid supplement instead?

Please Advice
Because of spine injury that occurred 35 years ago, my Dexa Scan indicates that (the spine) L2 is 3.2, L3 is 3.1, L4 is 3.6. My Endocrinologist has prescribed Prolia and am reminded to take this drug each time I visit him. I have hesitated taking this for many years and recently started an exercise

Ashermans, thin lining, low ovarian reserve, poor responder.. trying ivf one last time with donor sperm for possible surrogacy if lucky
After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange that when I had the coil out my periods remained just as light as when I had it in. I decided to do some hormone tests, and discovered I had a high prolactin

Whole food/buffeted vit c and iron absorption?
Hi everyone I’m taking iron tablets at the moment and have been taking them with a 500mg dissolvable ascorbic acid tablet as I can’t swallow tablets but it’s causing me some problems with uncomfortable reflux in my throat. I have low stomach acid which I’m assuming is the cause of my iron deficiency
