So about 3 and a half weeks ago after night of drinking i felt discomfort in my upper right abdomen and slight pain on border between epigastric and right hipohondric region, exact spot where 9th and 10th rib connect i also felt it little lower then that towards belly button i didnr think that was smthing serious so i ignored it and it disapeared next day. 2 days later i had bday party so i had drinks, tommorow i felt again discomfort and weak dull pain in upper right abdomen and inside rib cage and also on border spot i mentioned. so i cut back on alcohol and havent had drink in 5 days, both pain and discomfort went away in meantime, so i thought its gone that im okay so i went out with friends, and next day i felt slight pain that quickly disapeared, so they had plans for doing it again and we did, after that i had 2 days of constant dull pain in upper right abdomen and inside rib cage, pain wasnt radiating but it was all over rib cage, right, left, close to spine in the back. So i decided to give it a week and more of rest, pain in upper abdomen and rib cage disapeared, but pain in border spot was still hurting it came and disapeared it lasted from 30 mins to few hours. So i changed my diet abit, and at the end it cooled off. Then I tryed to drink again, pain came back, dull pain in rib cage and bellow it disapeared in a day but its been 5 days that spot still hurts from time to time and i get occasional stab like feeling in right rib cage. I tryed to drink wine glass today felt dull pain in rib cage that shortly disapeared. Now im pretty sure alcohol trigers this dull pain and it concerns me if its liver problem, fatty liver doesnt usually cause any pain except discomfort and that is rare. hepatitis is usually followed by jaundice, fever, dark urine, pale stools, which i have none of, so im spending days wondering when will my eyes go yellow, cuz i read hepatitis can occur within 3 week of last drinking. And that spot pain is maybe diff, more sharped like stabbing, more intense. It may be pancreatitis or gallbladder, maybe gallbladder is causing problems and im only worsenig it with alcohol. Also in last 5 days i do keep having discomfort feeling on upper right side of abdomen. All this pains arent really severe or limiting me in daily activities but they cause alot of worry.
I also experiance flank pains on both sides of abdomen that travel to lumbal region, and burning pain upper left from belly button, as well as heartburn as well as bloating and having hard time burping, which causes nausea usually after coffe or late at night. But those conditions shouldnt be connected to liver problems.
I changed my diet a little bit last 2 weeks, i usually start day with low fat milk and some cereal that has B vitamins, C, K vitamins added to it. Overday i overload on antioxidant fruits, like blackberrys, aronia, blueberries, grapes. I try not to eat too fat food, but pork meat is kinda part of culture here. I also eat veggies like onion, tomatoe, cucumber with lunch. I drink plenty of tea, some herb mix tea, chamomile tea, pepermint tea, green tea. I usually drink 2l of pure water per day not counting teas, coffe, carbonated mineral water. I take 1 pill of vitamin C 1000mg everyday, also 1 pil of Zinc. My appetit is now better then it ever was.
Also im 22 years old, im 62kg 167cm, i dont even drink that much 1-3 times a week at most, some weeks during exams i even skip drinking and going out
Im not really sure what to do here, i would go to doctor but im having exams soon that i need to focus 100%, also new covid wave is coming im not really sure where to go really what is covid zone and what isnt, idk if they would even take me or just urgent cases. I dont really understand at what stage my liver is atm, or what to do really. All i know i need to stop drinking for 2+ weeks.
