Feeling dehydrated even with drinking 2-3 liters per day
Has anyone been troubled with dehydration with CLL? My CLL was diagnosed in July as result of hospital admission for acute sigmoidal diverticulitis (never had this before). I am on W&W, my ALC was 20 from what I remember during that acute illness. RBC's, platelets and Hgb all preserved. Since that

An outcome I was told wasn't possible ..
I joined this Forum shortly after I was diagnosed with Advanced prostate cancer in early 2020. Having been told by my oncologist team that my Gleeson was 9 and the cancer had metastasized to my hip and I had no chance of cure and could expect to live for another 5 years, maybe a little longer. My PSA

Return of PMR?
I was able to get down to 0 Prednisone after 28 months. It was my third attempt. Every was good until about a week ago (4 weeks since last Prednisone) when I started having morning shoulder pain and stiffness. It was gotten progressively worse, and now involves hips and knees. I was also on .4ml MTX

Monday Dessert: Pandan Jelly in Coconut Milk. 🌱😋❤️🌺
Hello everyone, hope you have a great start of the week! 🤗 Yesterday I visited my parents and they gave me some pandan leaves from their friend’s garden, so I just made pandan jelly dessert. It is served hot or cold. 😋👍 Recipe: Boil pandan leaves in water and add vegan agar powder to make jelly.

Update on hubby
Just an update on how hubby is doing. He is feeling better than he has been for years! Something seems to have had a positive effect and he is positively energetic and laughing and talking and back to helping with housework, and joining in with the family. He has even got into our spa pool with me that

Berry
These berry are wonderful! New superfood! Contains high amount of Vitamin C , naturally great for liver, grown in Eastern Canada and Russia- no chemicals. You don’t have to worry. Worry only about North American food full of fats and chemicals. Some health food stores sells them frozen ..

Do I need Vit B12? If so what and how?
HI All. Just had my blood test results and all pretty good except Doc said my Vit B12 was a bit low at 213 pg/mL (normal range 160 – 950), and suggested that I may want to take a daily supplement. Question is what? I can buy a Super Complex B for about £21 for 500 tabs from Costco which contains

Freshly picked Blackberries.
Hi everyone, Yesterday I picked these blackberries from brambles growing wild in my hedgerow so I didn't have far to walk. Blackberries are synonymous with Autumn in the UK and will be in fruit for a little while yet. Wild blackberries from brambles have much more flavour than shop bought ones in my

Your thoughts please on suggested levo and thyroid glandular regime
I’ve been complaining for ever about static weight, sleep issues and other niggles but since metavive had nucleotides added I noticed more niggles (or an exacerbation of) and actual weight gain and so I had to decrease the dose to the point where they just weren’t enough A few weeks ago I began phasing

What healthy take aways do you order?
Good morning everyone, it was on the news this morning that take away orders have increased dramatically because of COVID and the subsequent lockdown. Being a coeliac and into whole foods I don't eat take aways partly because I have a fear of food prepared by others and fast food leaves me cold, so

Vitamin C
My oncologist said we can't have antioxidant during chemo. Pharmacist said we cannot have Vitamin C supplements during chemo. I heard in Germany they alternate Vit C IV With chemo IV. Does anybody know anything regarding Vit C during chemo? Appreciate any response. Thanks
