He suggested waiting for my annual PSMA Pet Scan due in Jan 23 and take a call on the
cystoscopy
thereafter. I decided to go along with the urologist.

Finally got a diagnosis
I finally had a
cystoscopy
and a laparoscopy. I feel validated with what has been found but also lost. I am waiting to hear what the plan is. Does anyone else have endo this extensive? How do you live? I am struggling.

PSA rate of decline in ADT with ductal type cancer?

Cystoscopy next week - risks of procedure?
D-mannose has helped in combating infections enormously, however I'm having a
cystoscopy
next week to investigate any sinister cause of the pain. Not so worried about the procedure (other than the embarrassment ) but the possible after effects that may be bleeding, infection & residual pain.

Blood in the urine
It only happened once but then in September, it happened again so my Urologist performed a
cystoscopy
in his office and saw some irritation in the bladder that may have been a result of the IMRT I had last year. .

Being sent for
cystoscopy
. I’m 63.was taking aspirin - unwise , I know, but it works better than paracetamol. Ended up with uti and blood in urine. Of course , I have myself dead and buried. Couple of weeks till procedure , so I need to forget about it till then.

Young Adult with Incontinence
Hi I am a 23 year old male with urge Incontinence, I’ve had all the tests done urodynamics and
cystoscopy
. The doctors can’t figure out what’s causing my bladder leakages. I have to wear protection because of this.

TURBT
The urologist then scheduled a
cystoscopy
and once he had a look said I'd need the surgery. He though it would be stage 1 or maybe stage 0 and that my long term prognosis was very good. Not sure what to expect but no doubt will find out more tomorrow. The pathology should take a week.

Update w/ Questions: Tumor growth w/o PSA rise; Chemo Round 2, Cabazitaxel This Time
In April I had a
cystoscopy
(follow up to getting an AUS implant) that showed my bladder to be fairly healthy, no signs of problems, then I started peeing blood.

Great news so far but still praying…
Also, he had the
cystoscopy
done and the doctor just thinks the CT scan saw a shadow from his enlarged prostate because everything look great and completely normal. Another Lupron shot next month. We are headed in the right direction for now. Prayers to all of you Warriors🙏🏻

Just a short update from moi. Lungs status quo.
And my last
cystoscopy
was negative for urinary bladder neoplasia, and now over a year since my second resection (remember one must go three years cancer free to qualify for lung transplant). I did attend Sir Paul McCartney’s Got Back concert on the 13th of May, 2022.

Sharing my pelvic floor experience
I saw a urologist who ran urinalysis and
cystoscopy
tests on me, very uncomfortable and embarrassing tests! After 6 months of having so many invasive exams, we discovered it was a muscular issue (no stricture or anything like that), and I asked about PT.

How do you travel / fly overseas with the potential of hematuria and urine blockage resulting from radiation cystitis?
A
cystoscopy
10 days later showed radiation cystitis from salvage radiation 6 years prior and this was the first episode I every had.

Need for Cystoscopy?
My urologist ordered a CAT scan (which was clean) and
cystoscopy
which I will have tomorrow. I only ever noticed blood in my urine that one time which makes me wonder if a
cystoscopy
is needed.

Too be honest, the
cystoscopy
I had last year was more painful! My thanks to Dr. Phann and his team at Royal Stoke University Hospital and all the doctors and nurses who support them. I couldn't ask for more care and attention.

Rezum treatment for age enlarged prostate
I recently went through the
cystoscopy
which was a tad invasive and undignified but have been put on the waiting list now for rezum treatment… basically using steam to kill off prostate tissue. Has anyone been through this one ?

PSA blip
He had diarrhea along with hematuria about 3 weeks ago so he’s going in on March 11 for a
cystoscopy
to see if there are any masses. We weren’t expecting anything to rise, more of a leveling off, so I’m a bit worried for him. Any thoughts?
