Young Adult with Incontinence

Hi I am a 23 year old male with urge Incontinence,

I’ve had all the tests done urodynamics and cystoscopy. The doctors can’t figure out what’s causing my bladder leakages. I have to wear protection because of this.

Have they checked you for Spina Bifida?

No but I don't have issues with my spine or anything

I mean, I didn't either. Nobody knew until they actually put me through an MRI.

If you are seeing a general urologist, I would suggest, if it is possible, to see a urologist who specializes in treating urinary incontinence. Most urologists specialize in a particular branch of urology, and so it might be helpful to see one who really focuses in on UI. There might also be good cause to see a neurologist as well. Did your urologist suggest any kind of therapy for your urge urinary incontinence? Physical therapy? Medication? Neurostimulation? Diet modifications? Has anything been tried with any reduction in your symptoms?

No they can’t figure out the cause and I’m at the point to get a second opinion
