Hi. I am scheduled for a TURBT tomorrow morning. Last month I had one day of turbid dark urine and the urgent care center gave me an urgent referral to the urologist who scheduled a CT urogram with contrast.
The report showed " Bladder wall thickening and trabeculation posteriorly with subtle features concerning concerning for villous bladder tumor related to the posterior left bladder wall near the ureterovesicular junction."
The urologist then scheduled a cystoscopy and once he had a look said I'd need the surgery. He though it would be stage 1 or maybe stage 0 and that my long term prognosis was very good.
Not sure what to expect but no doubt will find out more tomorrow. The pathology should take a week.
Five years ago I had prostate cancer (Gleason 7=3+4) and had four Cyberknife (SBRT) radiation treatments. Since then my PSA has dropped steadily and is now 0.163
