What is this pain?
I thought maybe it was a kidney infection but I have no temperature and no other symptoms apart from the pain and the
cystitis
(which isn't as bad as it was).

recurring bladder infections
Does anyone here know if recurrent
cystitis
or bladder infections can be caused by AN? Or is this only when someone has severe bladder problems? She doesn't seem to have problems with emptying her bladder, as far as I know, but takes
cystitis
remedies. Thank you

Levator ani syndrome and rectal prolapse
I am wondering what has caused my rectum to come out. It isn't noticeable by looking at it, but I can feel that it is more raised than when it used to be. It is causing me a lot of anxiety, and it is also very tight. It never used to be this tight.

Has anyone had a Myomectomy? (removal of only fibroid)
He said that it is impossible to say if it will relieve symptoms because I do have interstitial
cystitis
, but that he does this surgery and it is less invasive than a total hysterectomy.

Potassium
. :-( Recently I've been feeling the need to pass urine much more frequently, no pain, not dark and neither the doctor or I think it's
cystitis
, I've also been feeling particularly tired.

Worried about hysterectomy- any responses?
I have interstitial
cystitis
which consists of extreme discomfort in the bladder, feeling like only urinating will help it, but it only partially does.

£10.00 to write a prescription!
My wife regularly has
cystitis
and recognises the need to get antibiotics as soon as possible and antibiotics should not hang about in a handbag for months at a time.

Hiprex (methenamine - oral, Mandelamine, UrexHexamethylenetetramine): anyone?
My consultant urologist tells me hiprex is our fall-back treatment re the way we're managing the chronic issues involved in my various chronic urological/renal conditions. Nearly a year into finally tackling these lifelong problems in a more concerted manner, the treatment plan immunology+rheumatology

APS/Hughes Syndrome?
, interstitial
cystitis
(?), irritable bowel syndrome. At my annual hematology check yesterday, the PA mentions that I tested "indicative" for the lupus anticoagulant in last year's blood work. Does all this mean I have APS? I am confused by what I am reading on line...

Thyroid and IC
I have had IC and recurrent
cystitis
for the past 22 years after 3 major surgeries - hysterectomy, bladder fistula repair and again a fistula repair. I have not nothing else wrong with my health over the years - I am now 59. I cannot help but wonder if my thyroid is not connected somehow.
