3 weeks post cryoablation
Have had a busy week so far, birthday lunch on Tuesday and Physio for my back on Wednesday (yesterday) today Thursday have woke with muzzy dizzy head and feeling a bit nauseous. Wonder if this is still to do with post op or maybe something else. Has anyone felt like this after 3 weeks is my body telling

Really scared worried about Afib being back...
I had my first and only
cryoablation
on July21 of 2016. I had a terrible complication of having a 9 pound hematoma on my left thigh from the incision down to the knee. It kept me off my feet for weeks because it hurt so badly when I walked. But I got over it.

Post Cryoablation
I had a
cryoablation
six days ago and and just beginning to feel a bit more like myself. My heart is missing every third beat most of the time which does make me feel a bit dizzy and very tired. My groin hurts when I walk although I haven't left the house yet to really test it.

Post ablation
I had my
cryoablation
a week ago and within four hours of going home my heart started racing again. I contacted the specialist nurse first thing on Monday (as it had been Friday when I went home) and after having an ECG was diagnosed with atrial tachycardia.

Ablation date
Well it has finally arrived, tomorrow I go in for my
cryoablation
, providing the bed is available of course! I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for the really useful posts you have put up. It means I will be armed with all the information I need both pre and post ablation.

Still on bisoprolol 2 years post ablation
I had my
cryoablation
over 2 years ago with very good effect. Have been discharged from the cardiology department over 18 months ago. My EP said to take 5 mgs Bisoprolol post ablation which was less than I had been taking.

Bad news for the nerve block I just went for and I feel like an idiot. Like I let you all down😔
He does believe that
cryoablation
is the way to go with this but not now. He wants to wait for technology to catch up. He wants it researched and done more and not done only by one doctor. He would like to see it be practiced more routinely before I even get it done.

Af worse after cryoablation
Hi, I had ablation on 29th March and have had a number of episodes since then. I had been suffering since 2006 and my consultant kept telling me my episodes would increase as I got older. I used to get 3 or 4 a year lasting about 3 hours. Since January the frequency had increased a lot so I went for

Stopping an AF attack using exercise
I had a
cryoablation
in July 2016 which obviously was not totally effective. I also have LBBB and cardiomyopathy which may be the cause of my AF. I use a sports heart rate monitor to when I am in AF and when cycling.

Aged 49, newly diagnosed, - An Update
Doctors have noticed for years that
cryoablation
(freezing argon gas to -195 degrees C) kills healthy cells and cancer cells, but the surrounding tissues are not damaged.

Post ablation woes... can't believe this
He said
cryoablation
is out because I have both AFib and Af. I was scared of his rushing I was lucky to quickly get the spot in a major NY hospital where they reviewed all my hospital records (from the state I live).

Treatment options for primary liver cancer
Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), percutaneous ethanol injection (PEI),
cryoablation
, microwave therapy, and irreversible electroporation therapy are different types of ablation treatments.

Cryoablation
Hi all, I had the procedure two days ago because I don't want to take medication for the rest of my life. I take rivaroxiban, amiodarone and bisoprolol I was in nsr and pulse was 50 - 60 bpm I felt really well before the op but now my pulse is fast and irregular. How long before things calm down?

PAF and decision of drugs or ablation after only 2 episodes
I asked my cardiac nurse to refer me to an EP who I saw a couple of weeks ago, he thinks I either need to go on Fleconaide or have a
cryoablation
,. This seems very extreme to me as I have only had 2 episodes of AFA although I do get palpitations from time to time.

Bladder appears to be getting worse and now have pain in my back when urinating.
I don't see a doctor for this until May because I'm going to Atlanta Georgia for the
cryoablation
. Do you all feel I should try to move up that appointment? This pain is new and just last 2 days.
