Is there counselling on this site for people to chat with about mental health
Hi I am looking for counselling on this site as there is lots of people with anxiety. I thought it would be good to chat with those people or a counceller.

Since my last update I have been having speech therapy and my speech therapist has diagnosed the above. I need help..
Hello all. I write this message with tears pouring from my eyes. I am desperate and I need help. I am a single father of a 6 year old boy with ADHD. He has the sweetest heart but lacks the ability to self regulate his behavior for long. I get notes every day from his daycare about how terrible his behavior

I'm finding this forum pretty helpful, so now I'm posting an update about my saga (refresher: diagnosed a month ago at age 33, only lasted 6 days on adderall because it made my depression worse, also on prozac for depression/anxiety) my psychiatrist started me on dexedrine (5mg 2x/day, will switch to

Manuka honey and IBS
I’ve had IBS for well over 30 years now and the last few years have been pretty good. Under control with diet and Laxido. However, from September last year my anxiety disorder sky rocketed because of various really stressful events (too much to talk about here). I’m also in trauma counselling. I ended

RECONNECTING WITH PASSIONS AFTER LOSS.. Have you given up on your hobbies and interests? Is it depression or is it grief or something else?
Ever since my father passed away back in 2009 something totally switched off inside me like a candle been snuffed out. Being a previously and incredibly active person having multiple interests, in both Photography, kite flying to metal detecting to collecting antiques and travelling to many antique shows

Tired
I joined this group months ago. Been dealing with depression my whole life and I’m just tired. It’s gotten to the point where nothing works some days I’m on meds and counseling. I work outside in my yard and that helps but today is bad

Newly diagnosed, scared, need encouragement
Hi everyone. I was just diagnosed with ADHD, and I'm feeling a lot of things right now. In some ways, it was a relief - something I've known my whole life and was finally validated. But it's also bringing up a lot of feelings. Making me remember all the times I've struggled and felt different and tried

Can anyone help with my sleep anxiety?
This is my fourth round and I found something new. During my last rounds I was able to take significant time off work. Now I'm retraining as a teacher, working full-time and my colleagues are giving me lots of stress (they are not nice people). I cannot take too much time off. I was told I was only able

Anti anxiety medications
Hi, I’m really struggling with my mental health at the moment. My last CT scan showed slightly enlarged lymph nodes in my chest and I am terrified the cancer has returned. I have been referred for a PET scan, which the oncologist said would be quite quick (within a week) but because they are so busy

DIO2 test
Genetic counselling post DIO 2 test. Thinking that because my daughter seemed to have a sensible GP we could save £80 daylight robbery by asking for her results to be sent to him, we did that. He says he doesn’t understand them, so cancelled the request. Regenerus won’t release the results to her. My

Mental health deteriorating
Hello all, I hope everyone is as well as can be. I am quite unwell and I have no one to talk to about it. I am looking into counseling but I cannot even afford a copay right now. First Counselling Session
Returned to counselling for the first time in over a year. Didn’t think I would be back, but I’ve been struggling heavily with the loss of someone important to me. Someone I loved and cared for deeply no longer wants to be in my life and the thought of being without them gives me such horrible anxiety
