Flu Shot
When is the best time for us CLL'ers to take the flu shot for it to be most effective? The end of October, the beginning of November, or now?

Why won't my partners' Thrush go away?
My partner has had Vaginal Thrush for almost 6 months now due to antibiotics. She has tried pretty much all treatments and doesn't do anything to irritate her vagina what so ever, yet the symptoms persist (mildly). The GP has been little to no help and tested for STDs which has come back negative. Can

Flu Jabs
Just looking for a consensus of opinion, are people starting to have their flu jabs now? I phoned my gp the other day and sounds like they are nowhere near ready to start jabbing people. I’m starting to wonder that despite government assurances, there will be a shortage.

Flu jab
Does anyone have feedback on whether it’s a good idea to have a flu jab with PMR? It may be a coincidence, but my first symptoms appeared a few days after a flu jab. It may be that it was lurking and the flu jab triggered it. As a 72-year-old I’m being advised to have it but I’m a bit nervous.

Flu Jabs UK
I see from another post that some people have flu jabs twice a year. I am due to have mine tomorrow morning and was unaware that some people do have them twice a year . Is this just to serve as a booster or are there two different types? Also I don’t think that the NHS offers anything but once a year

Just had Flu jab in car park now frozen.
Oh yes the joy of being in the Shielding group and having to have the flu vaccine outside, well at least it wasn't raining as well as cold. So now back home frozen to the bone and trying to get warm again. Anyone have any idea why this year's vaccine and last year's is so bruising? I had to have a little

W8R2 - cold, cold, cold
Got up and the sun was shining through some holes in the clouds so I just threw on shorts and shirt-sleeved top and went for it. What I didn’t factor in was that, despite it being relatively sunny it was, according to my weather station, 2C and the average wind speed was 25mph. No wonder my arms were

Annual Flu Jab/Shot
Today, I received my 2020annual influenza immunization. I was diagnosed with PMR in Sept. 2013. Currently I use 7 mg. Prednisone. I have had an annual flu shot every year since being diagnosed with PMR.. No negative effects or problems as a result. On this Forum, every year there are several questions

Flu jab side effects in asthmatics?
Have you had your flu jab yet? Did you have/have you had side effects from the flu vaccine? If you did, may I ask what they were?

99.9% sure it's Covid 19
Hi everyone, I am suddenly extremely ill since last week. Sorry I have not been on here for a while, my iPad is kaput, borrowed one to post this. I've had temp 39.9, think that's around 103 in old money, horrible hard headaches spreading down the back of my neck and shoulders, feel like I've been hit
