Introduction
It's tough and CBT didn't work out for me, so I do weekly
counselling
& in meantime see a psychiatrist every 3 months while I am trying medications. I'm rather setback, and I'm finding it difficult to understand my illness.

For those who have had
counselling
did you learn any specific techniques that have helped? I know it’s very personal but I’d love to hear from you if you have something to share x

Looking for the light
I snap at times and end up yelling and feel awful. I called and made myself a counseling appointment because I am dealing with a lot of anxiety over what is happening with my son. He is in middle school and on 30 mg vyvanse and 1 mg intuniv. He starts to rebound right after school and we go through

Interesting link!
I've booked
counselling
because I need someone to talk to. It's really hard and I feel like a hypochondriac. I know all you guys have been through this and it's amazing that we've got this site. I've also signed all the petitions. Good luck guys and hope you find the link beneficial. S

New here [so, hi!] also why would a counsellor make a GP app. for you without informing you?
Hi to whoever the unfortunate souls are reading this, So I'm looking for a little reassurance I guess - I've been having
counselling
at my GP surgery for the last couple months, was supposed to be 6 sessions in all but my last session the counsellor said she wanted to extend it for another couple weeks

EAU18 - Copenhagen. Hormone-Naive PCa.
[The European Association of Urology [EAU] annual meeting took place in Copenhagen last month.] The lead paragraph is something of a downer & need not be read - so I moved it to below my signature. I know that some here are interested in oligometastatic PCa. Interesting quote from the end of the presentation

Depression
I have had some
counselling
- I have avoided medication. I don't believe I am worthy of anyone's time. I believe the world would be better off without me in it, I cry most days, have trouble sleeping, feel anxious a lot (last 3 days have been really bad).

Therapy
So I thought I’d kind of share how my day went. I missed a counseling appointment Friday because I was afraid and I couldn’t find someone to walk with me. This morning I got an email from the therapist to see if I wanted to reschedule, and she made an appointment for me today. I was scared at first

Could my sickness be because of anxiety?
Because of this, I have developed symptoms similar to depersonalisation/derealisation (hope i spelt them right lol, and i haven't had a formal diagnosis; i'm going to start
counselling
in a few days though) and anxiety.

Hello everyone, My name is EmLee (a play on a mix of my first and middle names, what I would like to think of as a nickname for me in a different life) and I will be graduating from college next month with a bachelors in psychology and spanish. Hard mornings.
Every morning it’s so tough. My mind races with crazy thoughts of suicide even though I know I can’t and won’t do this. It’s absurd really that every day for the last month this happens. Worry about next week, next month, next school year carpool, etc etc etc. On meds and have been to counseling many

13-year old son w/ADHD and executive function deficiencies
My son is 13 years old, was identified for "high ability" classes through 4th grade and the gifted/talented class in 5th and 6th. In 5th grade, however, his grades dropped dramatically - mostly because he was unable to concentrate and put forth the effort to understand material during the day, missed

Final round mixed feelings
Well it’s the start of our last ivf and to say mixed feelings is an understatement. Embryos not so great, on steroids as killer cells slightly high so all in all not high chances. I feel really mixed. Last time I did everything perfectly and had perfect results and scans then miscarried. I think I’m

Feeling like a failure 😢
I’ve been seeking
counselling
but it’s a years waiting list so I’m currently looking to have some privately. I don’t know whether I should go through with my FET while mentally I feel so exhausted and unmotivated for treatment - something I’ve never experienced before now.

Wanting to know it's alright.

I have consistently taken my meds for the last 3 years without stopping (using different

Sourcing t3
I have seen 2 endos. both have said I am fine, but need
counselling
. I am sure it is hashimotos but they just won’t entertain it. I am starting supplements for magnesium, d3 etc but would like to try a small dose of t3 to see if it helps me at all. My bloods are below. Thanks in advance.
