Struggling to get any doctors to listen to me.
He also denied my request to potentially look into having
cortisone
injections, because I didn’t have any/significant swelling - I suggested this may be due to the Naproxen bringing it down and he still said no.

Any insight on these results?
My mum's results - she's on 175 Levo and 15 T3. She already takes a D supplement, which I guess will need increasing. She stopped all biotin supplements 4 days before we did the test. She took no thyroid meds the morning of the test. This is the first time the test has come back showing low cortisol,

Post holiday run🤣🏃♀️🤣
Cool this morning but dry so headed off for my usual slow mile and half. ( still waiting for my
cortisone
injection so easy does it atm). Having just returned from Dorset I found the route so different having gone up and down coastal paths for the past week my route seemed quite tame.

Third Vaccine
He gave me a booster
cortisone
injection in my thigh, today can bend my finger and walk without pain. All without increasing my Pred again. 😀 Hopefully third jab won’t leave me with anymore side effects. Thanks for all your replies. Helen

Torn rotator cuff. What to do?
Month of acupuncture, helped with some of the pain & had a
cortisone
shot, temporary relief. I am not sure what I should do. Anyone who has gone through this or knows someone would be helpful.

Nutri advanced adrenal extract
Hello I’ve been taking Nutri Advanced freeze dried Adrenal extract (capsules) for nearly 1 year due to low cortisol readings (Not Addisons). It’s meant to be hormone free. Has anyone had experience of these and if so, how did you find weaning off then?

Research into Magnesium and RLS/PLMS
I know that the use of Magnesium to control/treat RLS is considered at best unproven and at worst controversial, but I - and various others - have found dosing with Magnesium Citrate very helpful. The studies looking into this have been much too small, and peer reviews have deemed studies inconclusive

The Saga Continues after PMR
I waited 3 months (in California USA) for a referral for x-ray guided
cortisone
injections. During waiting time I went to a foot doctor for Plantar Fasciitis and she told me the problem was that my left leg was 1/2" shorter than the right and that I needed Orthotics.

At the same time I got carpal tunnel in my right wrist which I got a

shot for. I am just miserable in pain and horrible fatigue. I use a heating pad on my back the whole time I am at home. I just did acupuncture and cupping for the first time yesterday I hope it works.

TENS : An Alternative Option for Management of PAIN From Multiple Causes
Next, I will test it on one of my neighbors who has pretty severe knee Osteoarthritis (KOA) to the point of needing
cortisone
shots regularly in the knees. To me, that will be a very good test of how well it works for KOA.

Help with latest bloods?
Following a blood test where I was advised I had high TPO antibodies I saw a private endo, blood showed hashimotos however he said blood indicating I was likely to go overactive although symptoms suggest underactive. He requested further bloods and have the results today Serum Cortisol - Normal 701nmol

Finally my first Levi dose - 50mcg
Hi everyone! I’m back after a long hiatus. I have been going back and forth between my GP (lovely, but conservative) and my Endo and the various tests. I don’t think anyone officially diagnosed me as such. However based on previous results I’d say I have Hashimoto. (Presence of TG antibodies over

anyone experience a torn menincus in their knee ?
can I take
cortisone
with prednisone? Could the pmr have caused this to happen? I originally had horrible pain and inflammation in my knees when I first got pmr 2 years ago.

Over Medicated & Under Medicated....and Tinnitus
My GP surgery have been fairly good listening to me (seeing various different DR's). After feedback in late summer of 2020, and agreeing to get my TSH down towards 1 (as I still felt lousy), they prescribed me 125mcg of levo (I'm about 92kg). Then winter Covid hit and it was impossible to get a GP appointment
