Saw consultant this morning and don’t need new hip yet. Woo hoo. Going to give me a cortisone injection And I can carry on running so long as I’m careful. So I’m just going to take it easy for the next few weeks slowly increasing time I’m running. Happy running 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Good news indeed. It'll probably be a bit sore for a few days after but then you'll have your old mobility back . Much better than letting the old sawbones at it 🙂

O yes I was dreading being told I needed a new hip but he said he thought that I should be ok just having injection for a while any way woohoo 🤣🤣

Brilliant news and hopefully by keeping active supporting muscle will build and help reduce further damage on the hip. Happy running 🤗

That’s great news, yay!!! I’m still not running but I’ve joined a gym so swim and exercise on the days I’m not working. We can’t do everything can we 😂. Good luck with everything.
