Pain in right hand
I'm currently tapering from a flare of ulcerative colitis. I've managed to get to 11mg and hoping to get to 7.5mg. I was splitting my dose 6am and 2pm but I've got incredible pain in my fingers on my right hand and they swell up and down too. A little swelling in my left hand but no pain. I decided to

Help interpreting results: Told TSH levels normal when they're higher than the normal range
Hi! A bit of background: I'm mid 30s & was diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism 2 years ago and my GP referred me to the consultant as I also developed a large goitre & have family history (my late Mum had hypothyroidism). Consultant told me I had Hashimotos & my TSH, T3, T4 & antibody levels were

Advise for next appointment please. New to Forum, Really Struggling with GP.
Hello everyone, Looking for advice I can have with my GP or Endo the next time I have an appointment, as I am getting nowhere and very slowly. Briefly - I started with symptoms in 2020-2021 and visit the Dr suggesting it was my thyroid. Initially (over the phone) they said probably menopause or stress

advice needed re sick caretaker
my husband who does everything—lifting laundry, hanging it up, emptying the dishwasher, doing most of meal prep, taking out trash, etc., is on crutches with perhaps a torn meniscus. So I’m fetching for him and trying to keep our home in some sort of routine and my pmr isn’t liking it. Before his injury

Need your advice, pls, what should I take and how?
Hey all, I've been on a bit of a journey, unwell for the past few years, diagnosed 2012, did awesome on thyroid meds until...I didn't. Since I have now all cofactors optimal (vit D, B12, folate, iron, ferritin - after iron IV, magnesium), I feel my problem either stems from cortisol issues or balance

Rheumatologist appt
Hi, just an update. Saw rheumatologist today, he doesnt think I have PMR (too young for that, in his opinion) and instead thinks "fibromyalgia" alongside with "mechanical issues" as ultrasound in May showed shoulder bursitis and tendiopathy, calcification plus trocherantic hip bursitis. Gave me 2 cortisone

cortisol 24 hour urine result
can anyone read this result? I am unsure what it means. I know the urine and blood tests are pretty rubbish so I have ordered a saliva. But for now this is what I have from the nhs endocrinologist. I have a new private app in a few weeks to see a new endo who can hopefully help me with the low cortisol

First IVIG infusion
I've learned so very much here in this group, from so many here, Thank you all. Although I post very little and do read and am concerned for everyone. I want to ask what are some of your experiences with getting IVIG ? Side effects ? Reactions ? I've been told very little by Dr and PA. Dr did say

A few Things ….
I had an ACTH
test
yesterday as my recent
cortisol
level
was low. I was told my TSH would be tested but not T4 and T3. However when I got there, it was a full thyroid profile being done. I had breakfast in the morning but no caffeine.

Blood Pressure, Heart Rate and T3
My
cortisol
level
is flat all day based on four point Saliva
Test
and suffering from adrenal fatigue. I asked my doctor to increase T3 so she prescribed T3 in small doses 3.5 mcg so I can add it and find tune to the right dosage.

Transitioning from NDT to T3 (slowly) - anyone done this? Or combines NDT with t3?
Hello there, After many years unsuccessfully on Levo, then NDT, NDT+T4, I'm trying NDT and T3...and it's tricky. My timing might be incorrect, I take now 3 daily doses and I'm feeling overmedicated in the afternoon (tight chest, dizzy, weird energy, hunger, sweaty feet, blurry vision etc.). I take
