After 2 1/2 years of playing hide & seek with COVID 19, the virus has caught up with us. We have both tested positive, possibly down to one person, knowing he/she was positive and still went to work. Now staying at home until we get a clear test result.. NHS message The NHS have new treatments

Covid and endless mucus
Hi, I'm on day 16 of covid and am still being plagued by sticky thick mucus. It's constantly being produced by my sinuses, and is on my chest and in my throat. I drink plenty of none caffeinated drinks. I'm having to use my Ventolin several times a day. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

As posted before, i had 3x bypass last october 20, 2022. Now i got the virus for the 2nd time. Was tested positive 2 days ago and my doctors prescribed molnupiravir (800mg 2x a day) and Zykast (1x a day). Have anybody took these? I hope it does not affect my present medications and medical condition

My husband has Bronchiectasis, Asthma and other lung issues as well as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Peripheral Neuropathy , Vasculitis, Heart Failure and more. As he was CEV he was sent a PCR test in the event he caught covid and more recently the NHS sent him some LFTs. Fortunately he has not had to

NeuroCovid and psych issues
Hi everybody, i came across this article in a social work journal and thought i would share it with you. I hope it's not too technical/medical. I am sharing this because a few people mentioned covid psychosis. I hope you feel validated by this article. We are all familiar with brain fog from MS but

Covid and stomach problems, are they linked?
Hi, I recently had covid, just as I tested negative I had the worst stomach problem of my life with a twisted stomach (later found out it was an internal hernia which caused bowel blockage). I didn't link the two at all, even though there was another patient in hospital with a twisted bowel who had

Travel concerns on biologics
I have RA and take Humira we are booked to go on a cruise to the canaries in October and I’m becoming increasingly anxious about COVID on board and being immunosuppressed I have had 4 vaccinations and had COVID in February treated with antivirals. I will be due a 5th vaccine in the autumn round.

PMR Flare up after Covid?
I am 67 years old and was diagnosed with PMR in 2016 and have been on Pred since then. I have managed to taper to 3.5 mg and whilst I’ve tried to get below I’ve not been successful and so have accepted I need to stay at this dosage to more or less live without symptoms on a daily basis and do the activities

spring covid booster
I had the booster for covid, it was Moderna, a month ago and since then my symptoms have been all over the place, from depressed and anxious to hyper and stressed and now getting palpitations. Does this latest vaccine cause any problems, Its not affected me previously .

A change of plan for testing the vulnerable - Government Lateral Flow tests instead of PCR tests
It has been updated because the Government has changed the way you test for
coronavirus
. From 1 April you should check
coronavirus
symptoms using lateral flow tests, not a PCR test.

Fibromyalgia after covid vaccine?
Hello everyone….been away for awhile. Two weeks after first covid vaccine I got hit with dry eyes/dry mouth, brain fog, insomnia and digestive issues and widespread muscle and joint pain. I have been to a rheumatologist 4 times and all tests come back normal. I told the doctor that in 1998 and again

Covid Palpitations
Hi all, I had a cryo ablation 4 years ago which successfully reduced my arrhythmia issues to just a few palpitations a day. Everything has been going well until this week when I tested positive for Covid. For the last few days the palpitations have increased from the usual 10 a day to around 100. I

Stem Cell Transplant-update
Well, I have been below the radar lately but it’s time to update you all. I was diagnosed moth PMF in April 2020 and declined quite quickly. I have CALR with ASXL1 mutation. I went through rapidly increasing dose of Peg INF but moved over to Ruxolitinib when my platelet count dropped. The rux helped

Covid Positive
I have been feeling really badly for 2 days. My doctor tested me this morning and of course I have Covid. Sore throat, body aches, wicked headache. I’m grateful to know that I will feel better hopefully in a few days. I really feel rough. Kelly

How long should I wait to have a thyroid panel blood test after having COVID?
I ordered the advanced thyroid panel blood test from Medichecks... and then I got COVID 😭 I’m on day 11, and I've finally tested negative. It’s been quite rough. My question is: does anyone know how long I should wait before my blood test? Will having had COVID again affect my results? I don’t want

COVID and AFIB...... BA5 finally got me...
Can AFIB patients (permanent for me)take the COVID drug Paxlovid? I worked so hard to avoid it but the BA5 variant got me. How have others with AFIB faired with COVID? Particularly the recent variants (that tend to be less severe). Symptoms, progression each day, length of time with symptoms? Pretty
