Hi there, as the title says never heard of it until tonight. Now l could be - and probably wrong - does this Evusheld have something to do with COVID? l had COVID in May and having tested positive 7 days in a row, l then recieved a phone call from my local hospital pharmacy saying l was being subscribed some anti-viral medication - unfortunately l didn't make a note of the name. Anyway l read the blurb and it said it was a trial and l had to take 8 tabs a day, After 5 days of taking these tablets l was feeling a lot better not well but certainly better than l had been.
Just one thing, as it was a trail shouldn't there have been some sort of phone call to see how l got on?

Evusheld is a “pre-exposure prophylaxis” treatment, meaning it is taken to prevent COVID-19 before the risk of acquiring infection. One dose has been found to provide long-lasting protection against this disease for up to 6 months. It is given as two injections. It does sound like you were given an anti viral not Evusheld.
Hi Sima1952 are you in the UK? If you are piglette is right, if you catch Covid and you are CEV you can be offered 2 different types of treatment, firstly there are Monoclonal Antibodies and some people are offered Anti Virals. I had Sotrovimab which is a MA. Evushield is something that will drastically help all us CEV people because it will replace Antibodies that our bodies no longer produce because of treatment. i.e it will beef up our severely weakened Immune system. If you are in the US or Canada Evushield is being used there.
