unstable angina
Hi I have been in and out of hospital since December with unstable angina. I am currently waiting for my 3rd angiogram so they can try drilling the blockage and fit a stent. 100 percent blocked right coronary artery double vessel disease. I am on so many tablets that I feel, like a zombie. Lisinopril

Relief
Colonoscopy done and dusted, nothing sinister, just a bit of diverticulitis. Just waiting for a March to come now and find if I had a stent as part of ORBITA trial. Hopefully can get myself on list to get my knee done now.

Hospital said stones in gallbladder may leak out unless it is removed, after ct scan alter sound and many blood tests.. operation successfully executed, sergeon said, lots of many stones some had to be mopped up and stomach cleaned. 8

Running again after operation
I’ve read several posts about starting to run after an illness but I’m not sure if the advice is valid for post operative running. I have completed C25K a couple of times since Jan 2021 but have had long breaks between for various reasons. I got to week 7 in August of this year then had time away followed

Ureteral stricture surgery/Ureteral retransplantation, replacement of ureter w small intestines etc and specialists who do this
I have a third kidney transplant and a ureteral stricture. We have tried everything to fix the stricture but nothing has worked. So my transplant team decided that surgery was the option ,surgical retransplantation of the ureter using a piece of my small intestines where the stricture was ,in its place

Hi, I had a quadruple heart bypass just before my 51st birthday 4 years ago, I have since been left with nerve damage in my torso. They said it would have happened from an underlying issue ok. Waiting time for angioplasty and stent on NHS
Hi all, can anyone advise what the rough waiting time for angioplasty and a stent is on the NHS at the moment please? I know waiting times vary widely due to location, severity etc I was just hoping to get a rough ballpark figure. Thanks!

I don’t understand!
On Friday jim was in the hospital for his 3 month internal stent replacement. Blood work all within normal range. It seems like in the last few months he was using the catheter less and less and doing so much better. No urinary tract infections any more., but a few days before the surgery he had terrible

I had HA and 1 stent (LAD) in Oct 2020. At the time my ef was 37% . I was told this was the only blockage but left with some damage to my heart. In march last year I had a heart scan and recieved a letter in May stating my heart was nearly back to normal, great news. Then in December I started to get

A lot is all in the mind
I’ve had a stent and a bout of persistent AF in the last few months, had Cardioversion to sort the At. The Cardiologist asked me to reduce Bisoprolol,so last night was the first time I didn’t take it (just taking 3.7mg in the mornings now)I suppose I had some anxiety in the back of my mind going to bed
