Sister agreed to be donor
Dear Survivors, I hope you're all OK; it's so goddamn tough, and I am sending every ounce of strength to all of you that have been dealt this horrible hand of cards and have come out the other side. Cannot begin to describe the insurmountable heartache since TTC. I'm grabbing at any opportunity to

IVF or ICSI age 40
hello, I’m just waiting for our DNA fragmentation test to come back for my husband but I’m considering doing IVF instead of ICSI this time around. I have done IVF in the past which was successful but I was younger. Anyone have positive IVF stories at the age of 40.

IVF - After a Miscarriage
Hi All I’ve had SLE since 2014, and I had a miscarriage in my first trimester in Jan 24. Since, I’ve been referred for IVF and in parallel I am trying to get a referral to a Lupus In Pregnancy clinic so both the fertility and lupus clinic that specialises in pregnancy can help build a plan for me.

IVF PGT pregnancy - high HCG at screening (low risk)
Hi everyone. I am currently 15 weeks pregnant with my first baby. It is an IVF pregnancy and it’s a PGT normal embryo that we transferred. Despite having a normal embryo we opted for combined screening. My results have come back low risk for my age - 1:260 and I’m aged 40. My NT was 1.9mm (mom = 1

High HCG at screening - IVF pregnancy
Hi everyone. I am currently 15 weeks pregnant with my first baby. It is an IVF pregnancy and it’s a PGT normal embryo that we transferred. Meaning it was testing and deemed to have the correct number of chromosomes before being transferred. The false negative chance of this is low at around 1-2%.

Ovaleap & Meriofert cramps
hi all. I’m 5 days into my first round of IVF (secondary infertility). Just wondered if anyone else has been getting a lot of cramps during stimulation? I’m also sooo tired but I don’t know how much of it is in my imagination! Any other fun side effects to warn me of? Obviously I’ve read the info from

Recommendations for IVF clinics for Donor eggs (want to see pictures of prospective donors)
Hello beautiful humans, My husband and I are looking into using donor eggs to try and conceive a second child after failed IUIs, IVF (x2) and 6 unsuccessful pregnancies through natural conception. I was looking into the Czech republic, but decided against it once I learned I was not able to see pictures

From 17...to 1. Pls send baby dust & success stories!
Hi all - 2nd IVF round hope-seeker here! I was so thrilled to have 17 eggs this round > 12 were mature > 6 fertilized and were looking strong at day 3. By day 5 (yesterday) of those 6, we had just 2 reach blastocyst and looking strong and hatching, 1 possible but unlikely and the balance not playing

Update - 2nd Transfer
hi girls! I haven’t written here for a while as I switched myself off from IVF for a bit - we all know how it can take over our entire life! I wanted a mental break and tbh after my first failed transfer, I just got to a mental state where I was so down I had to snap out of it eventually and just “not

I have a friend who I met through the clinic - we conceived our sons at the same time & have been trying for a sibling. I've had 3 failed IUIs, 1 failed IVF & one frostie waiting for FET in July. She's had the same amount & this morning has found out she is pregnant from her FET. I'm so delighted

exposure to chickenpox during ivf
Hi, I have been exposed to chicken pox a lot whilst taking my buserelin for my down regulation. I have a scan on Friday to check how my down regulation is going. I will inform them of the chicken pox but just wondered if people thought it would impact this cycle. Would I be considered having a weakened

Fertility Testing Recommendations
1 - What tests do you recommend for before/during IVF? 2 - What tests do you recommend after miscarriage? 3 - Any clinics globally you recommend for testing? (Based in the UK. Travel to Europe is ideal) Tests completed so far (Jun 2024): - Full blood count - APS screening - Laproscopy and dye test

Azoospermia, Sperm Donor IVF
My husband has Azoospermia with the cause currently unknown. We will explore if sperm retrieval is an option, but if it’s not or if it’s not successful, then we will have to go the sperm donor route. My husband is conflicted because he wants to give me the opportunity to be a mother, but he is worried

ivf finance options
does anybody know of any finance options for embryo transfers only? I have looked at access fertility but have been advised this applies to full IVF cycles only.

PGTM after PGTA?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has ever done PGTM after already having done PGTA on frozen embryos? We had a successful IVF round and now have a daughter. We have 3 euploids frozen from that round, but since then my partner has been diagnosed with an inherited genetic condition that can be tested
