I know it is early days but will I ever feel normal again?
Help, after feeling very ill found out in December that I had an overactive thyroid with antibodies. I started on 20mcg Carbimazole right away and had more bloods done three weeks later. Then I got a letter from my endo saying to double Carbmazole dose and take 20mcg morning and 20 mcg at night.

I will do my best to keep this concise. I spent hours researching a few things last night and discovered a surprise that may help me, but might be an uphill battle. I will advocate for it like crazy. Even if I do lose my license going forward to increased visual problems, I can accept that; I know it's

Two steps forward, one step back
Continued with my Vit D/B12/iron replacement and started NAX +
CoQ10
+ Vit C. Also dropped my T4 dose to 75mcg, with 10 days of no T4 to clear my system a bit for the adrenals.

HELP?! Going through things that may help.. Has anyone got a support dog, etc?
I have tried a number of things to try to help from
COQ10
to walking poles, none of which help some make it worse. Having tried so many things I am becoming more dis-heartened, then I found support dogs and the sensory belt.

HAS ANYONE TRIED MIGRELIEF AND COQ10?
I have decided, after much research on the internet to try Migrelief which contains Riboflavin,Magnesium and Feverfew alongside
COQ10
and have acupuncture privately. Has anyone tried these alternative treatments? and if so have they worked?

What supplements & vitamins have worked for you?
I've tried various supplements and am convinced that they help. However I've not been methodical so am not sure which actually work or which work best. I've taken, for reasonable periods of time: d-ribose; L Carnitine, COQ 10, B12. I've tried others too but been even less methodical (brain cant cope

Is it too soon to get excited?
Hi, well at last, after all these years, I am tolerating a statin. I honestly feel like I have won the lottery! I know it is only 10mg but it is more than I have ever been able to tolerate in the past and all because of the help I have received from this site, so a BIG thank you! AM - No Flush Niacin

Has anyone tried liquid CoQ10? I found a Pharmaceutical Grade Clinical Strength (100 mg) at Costco. Brand name is Qunol Liquid CoQ10.
It is supposed to have "superior absorption" compared to regular
CoQ10
. I know I read somewhere that it was promising for Parkinson's but nothing conclusive. Thoughts/Comments?

Has anyone had a change in their migraines after another illness?
I had a severe episode of flu which lasted about 5 weeks and since then I've been having more than one migraine a week, whereas I used to have about one a month. Does anyone know of anything that can help? I'm taking Co-Q10 and Vitamin B2 but there has been no change. Thanks.

CO Q10
Does anyone in the UK know where is the best and cheapest place to get CO Q10 tablets from .I went in to Boots Chemist and could not believe how expensive they were. Quite a few people appear to have good results from them. I wondered whether any of the companies who are always sending me booklets

Inflammatory Disease? Cut back on some of certain foods can help.
¦Add
coQ10
to your daily regimen: 60-100 milligrams of a softgel form taken with your largest meal. ¦If you are prone to metabolic syndrome, take alpha-lipoic acid, 100 to 400 milligrams a day.

I wanna new Drug (one that won't make me sick)
You said it Huey; one that won't make me crash my car or make me feel three feet thick. Sounds like Mr. Lewis had some knowledge of Parkinson's drugs. MIRAPEX a nonergot dopamine agonist, was the first drug prescribed for me.Side effects include: extreme drowsiness, falling asleep suddenly, even
