I took it for about two years and then a few months ago I read an article on the American Parkinsons Disease Association website. It said that after much testing it has proven not to be effective.

Thanks for your response. I've taken it for about a year and felt that it helped.

At least it was more pleasant, (in liquid form) than the meds prescribed.

I read your, "About me" info, like your sense of humor.

I 've been taking CoQ10 for about 8 years. It seems to give me more energy.

I think it's good for your heart too. I read the PDA article, but I decided to keep taking it. I get it through the mail from a company named Vitaline in chewable wafers. If you're interesed I'll give you their phone number and web site.

Thanks for responding. I also plan to continue the CoQ10. I would appreciate the info you offered although I like the liquid I'm now using. Tried the "dopamine twins" and several agonists with no apparent results other than nausea.

Wish you well!

The name of the company is Vitaline.. The phone # is

1-800-287-5972.The web site is vitalinecoq10.com.

I heard a Neurologist on Pat Robinson;s television show ,

"The 700 Club say that people with PD are usually low in CoQ10 and vitamin D.

Wish you well too!

I took it for a few years but my neurologist said don't waste your money. I stopped since it was expensive...(but I am a firm believer in the "placebo effect".)

Thanx for the info on CoQ10. When I asked my neurologist, she turned palms up and said, "What can it hurt?

I used to take it before I was dx but gave it up and then I got Pd/ So I thought why not take it now?(2005) My neuro asked me how I felt on it seemed that I'd got more energy when I was taking Co enzyme Q10 but I didn't like the high dosage recommended so now I take a low dose now and then. It certainly does not seem to harm me ????
