How long does it take for the Nexplanon Implant to leave your system after removal?

Hello!

I’ve recently (2 and a half weeks ago) had the Nexplanon implant removed due to some nasty side effects. I was getting horrible pelvic cramps all throughout my cycle and had had enough and me and my doctor decided it was best to get it removed.

However now two and a half weeks after having it removed I’m still getting the pain. Is this expected? How long does it take for the hormones to leave your body and any side effects to subside? Also has anyone else had this side effect from this contraceptive?
