Late period after stopping pills
Hi guys Wonder if anyone can help. I stopped taking birth control pills 2 months ago roughly and had withdrawal bleed on 24th Jan. I’m using this app to track my period and it’s saying that I’m 4 days late as my cycle is usually 28 days but today is the 34th day and still hasn’t come on. I have been

Hi folks. I'm taking Isosorbide mononitrate and Untill the pill is working I'm fine, but once it wears off after few hours I start getting twinges in my chest and some days pain in front of chest and some times at the back. So yesterday I tried to check how much is my heart depending on Isosorbide Mononitrate

Help needed
Really not sure where to go from here - how much has it cost people to go private? I got diagnosed at 19, almost 10 years ago. I’ve not seen a specialist for almost 5 years as tried to manage it through GP. GP told me to take the pill back to back permanently and just have a break when I bleed. I changed

Confused after appointment with EP
I had an episode on April 15th where my heart went into a fluttering type feeling that took my breath away and lasted for 10 seconds. It felt exactly the way my PVCS feel but instead of a quick flutter and done, it just kept going and scared the crap out of me. I do have a loop recorder and so I pushed

Bleeding heavily whilst on the pill.
I’ve been on the pill for 8 months straight, take it everyday at 9pm, but I have started bleeding very heavily & it is causing me a lot of pain? I’m seeing a doctor about it, but it’s giving me a lot of trouble in trying to work out what it is? Any suggestions?

I’m about to go on the pill (the combined pill-21days) when you bleed for the 7 days does that mean you are not pregnant?

Synarel the alternative to Lupron/prostap - my opinion
So, I refused Lupron/Prostap after doing my own research and having access to legal articles and extra information. Personally, for me it was unsafe and increases too many risks for me. However, this was pushed and pushed on me and I was always left feeling as if they felt I wasn’t willing to help myself

Mini-Pill working wonders!
I came off my contraceptive implant to see how my period was doing and it turned out to be irregular and very very very painful as well as a surprising symptom of rectal bleeding at the same time. To help with the pain, I was recommended the mini-pill and I have now been on it about three months and

Advice about referral and the right thing to say
I really need advice on what to ask my GP for to get my issue solved. I have had lower abdominal pain and discomfort for about 2 and a half years. February 2020 I went to my doctor about it. I described: fatigue, bloating, period cramps when it wasn't my period, painful ovaries, periods every 22 days

Hi everyone! I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer in January and had my thyroid completely removed on February 18th (6 days ago). I had no thyroid problems prior. The surgeon also removed two parathyroids as well due to their location. I began taking 100 Mcg of Levothyroxine two days post-op

Is copper coil a good method after depo provera?
I’ve had 2 depo provera shots and have recently become incredibly anxious and depressed (crying constantly for no real reason) which is really sad as I had been raving about the injection in the first 18 weeks. I’m looking into the copper coil as it has no hormones, can anyone recommend or let me know

Trying to conceive: battle plan??
However, the thought of coming off
contraception
altogether (let alone for 2+ years) terrifies me, as the pill is a huge part of managing the pain for me and I am scared of what my life will look like without it.

After a telephone consultation with my gynaecologist today, he has said they don't think there's anything else they can do 4 my endo pain as ive trued the pill running packs 4 3months, had the coil fitted while under for removal of endometriosis last Feb but since December I have had prolonged pain worse

Just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, terrified
So I just got my A1C results back and it was 6.7. My doctor says that means it's not out of control yet but it is in the diabetes range. I am terrified. I also have high cholesterol (just barely in the high range). All other test results were normal ranges. I've always worried about my health but have

Sex drive issues
I was on
contraception
both the pill then the bar in my arm but came off them both as I thought they were the reasons the pains began and my drives gone. But I came off them and wasn’t on them for more than a few months.
