This first started a year ago for me, I noticed that underneath my left rib cage I had this full sensation which was driving me crazy! It feels like air is trapped under there or like it's being tugged downwards? It seems to flare up whenever I spot or bleed on the pill, but can happen anytime and lasts days/weeks. It doesn't hurt but is VERY uncomfortable and frightening.
I have been told it could be linked to IBS or is potentially diaphragmatic endo?
Has anyone experienced this sensation and if so do you have a diagnosis?
Any info would be much appreciated x

Hi IB15, so strange, you just described exactly what I started experiencing recently but I don’t know what it is. I am on my 3rd pack of Cerazzete, but cant remember if this sensation started before or after. So I can’t really answer your question, but thought will mention this. x
Im sorry your experiencing it too! Im finding its worse when I haven't eaten now, wondering its more stomach related? Im waiting on a laparoscopy to see if there is anything there x
Ive had this for so long! Always put down to IBS and I also got told I had a floating rib so when I am bloated it digs in however I am not convinced... it seems to come around the time for me from when period ends to ovulation. Its like the worste trapped wind I have ever had nut nothing eases it. Had a upper abdo scan and no concerns. And becuse I dont feel sick or be sick GP not concered. Strange! Ps I am still undiaognosed Endo x
Hi all, thought I would update here on findings. I have had a colonoscopy and laparoscopy now and I do have endo which accounts for everything! But I have also been diagnosed with a "Hiatus Hernia" which could be the cause of the sensation. I have since discovered that it is worse for me on an empty stomach and that taking "Deflatine" helps enormously. It could be due to that or referred pain from the endo - I hope this helps someone get answers! x
