Have benzo's helped?
I'm curious what people's experiences are with Benzodiazepenes for dealing (treating?) with their FND. My symptoms were progressing so quickly and it was becoming full body and brain involvement. Huge congnition issues, tremors, jerks, lim weakness etc...Hence, my anxiety began to become an issue as

Pvcs all day and chest discomfort
Hi I am a 50yr old female and have had svt and ectopic beats for the last almost thirty years. My ectopic beats are all day every day and are caused by changes in air for example the wind outside windows that are open and steam from a pan or kettle. I have found them worse now than they have ever been

Has anyone had a positive experience of taking the 'mini pill'?
My GP wants to prescribe it for me to try. I'm late 30s and have both PCOS and endo. The main symptom she wants to prescribe it for is my mood swings as I have really severe PMS (but only 4 or 5 times a year as my periods are irregular). I can't take the combined pill due to past DVT. I would like to

Have you had a bowel resection or were you at risk of one?? Please read. ā„ļø š So, nearly 26 years of extreme period pain, bleeding heavily, anaemia and impact on life.. was finally heard in 2017 when my endometrioma showed up and caused enough pain (so we knee stage 4 endometriosis). PVCs a way to stop them, I find.
I have discovered that when they start, if I stretch my arms up for about 10 seconds above my head (as you do when waking up in the morning, a good yawn and stretch), they quickly subside to normal rythm, If they return I do the same again. You can watch on a pulseoximeter - it goes from 39 - 70

Thoughts on Dr. Malcolm Kendrick?
I am new to this site, a retired Canadian nurse with high blood pressure and frequent PVC issues. I have read all of the British GP Dr. Kendrickās books, and am curious about what sense others may have of his opinions. I know he has been vehemently dismissed by the medical establishment as anti big

Coming Off The Pill
So a little background..... I have 3 children already but I've decided I would like a 4th. I accidentally missed a few of my pills in October which caused me to have the smallest of bleeds. Like not even worth wearing a pad for just one day. I did however have sex during my missed pill days. So about

Visanne - where do I buy it?
Hi all, I was recently diagnosed via lap in Oct (Stage 2). I can't handle Progesterone-only or the combined pill because I have had migraines with both, so bizarrely; my consultant has prescribed Visanne (another progesterone?!) as a last option as I won't get the coil. She told me that the NHS won't

NMDA Encephalitis and Contraception/Hormones
I was advised by my doctor to stop taking hormonal
contraception
(pill) when I first became sick as he said the hormones may cause a relapse. However, due to other health concerns such as PCOS, I am being offered the Mirena coil with minimal hormones.
