Struggling to get a diagnosis
Hi! I have been getting symptoms of endometriosis since I was 15 and I am 26. I have been to the GP on several occasions over the past 11 years with symptoms and they brushed it off as painful periods and gave me the pill. Most recently I changed GP surgery and finally seen a GP that listened to me.

Post Catheter Ablation
I'm 72, fit, considered generally healthy, although I had an ablation 7 days ago. It went 'smoothly' according to the electrophysiologist. This treatment came as a choice after 2 years of Paroxysmal AF episodes. My symptoms were very pronounced. The 'pill in the pocket' didn't really help me. However

What it really means to have IBS
If you’ve recently been diagnosed with IBS, you’re most likely scouring the internet for information on how to naturally treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). As a hypnotherapist who was diagnosed back in 2011 with IBS, I’m hoping my experience can shed some light on this poorly understood condition

Glass of red wine whilst on the pill..
I hope I don’t sound stupid but I’m up worrying so thought I would come on and put pen to paper (so to say).. My IVF consultant told me to abstain from alcohol from when we met her in December. Since then we have had some delays in the IVF cycle treatment beginning and I did have 2 cheeky glasses of

Donating blood
Hello, I am new to this group, and I have a question. I’m scheduled to give blood in 2 days. I’ve never done this before and was wondering if it might exacerbate PVCs? Mine have been fairly active lately. I know drinking plenty of water is important before donating blood. Has anyone with arrhythmia given

Update on last post
So, my granddaughter has been on the combined pill for over two months which has done what it was supposed to do, except that she is in more pain now than ever before. The GP has given her different pain killers but once again they have no effect on her. He said that in his opinion she may not have

Bisphosphonate success? My update!
Greetings to all! I can never begin to thank the special few ladies on this site enough who replied to my first note back in the early summer of 2021 and encouraged me with their positive stories and shared fears when I was absolutely terrified to make the decision to start alendronate. Petpal, Bogart0416

How do we find out about our baseline hormones and treat them?
Does anyone know where you can go to test your hormones/ baseline hormones? There's so many scam companies out there trying to make a quick buck with at home testing, and I have no idea where to start looking. I also find it so difficult to navigate any treatments other than the pill or the coil, and

Alarming episode
Am on Gabapentin 400mg which works only 50%; also suffer from insomnia independently of RLS. . My doc prescribes me occasional Zolpidem when she takes pity on me and the odd Zolpiclone. Last night exhausted after 3 sleepless nights I thought I would treat myself to a Zolpiclone - last one in packet

Can you take combined pill breaks at any stage?
I take my combined pill (Gedarel 30/150) without breaks, to help with extreme cramping and serious anaemia. I take a 5 break when I get breakthrough bleeding. Does this put me at risk of pregnancy? Is there a set 28-day cycle, or is this subjective? Thanks.

Pains that were put down as endometriosis go as follows: - Heavy & painful periods (have mefenaic acid to help although I was given back-to-back
contraception
to try alleviate the pain but would still bleed through) - Pain during and after intercourse, bleeding post intercourse -

Seeking Info
Hi I'm 23 and was diagnosed 4 years ago. Since then I have been on pill. The pill has control my extra facial hair but I have gradually gained 30 lbs in the last 4 years. Not sure if it is the polycystic syndrome or the pill. I never had a weight issue before the pill. Anyone have any info for me?

Impryl advice
Hello everyone, I’d come across this group a few days ago and I’ve really appreciated reading through everyone’s different stories and struggles with pcos. I’m 29 and have been trying for a baby for 12 months. I’d been diagnosed with pcos a year and a half ago after being on the contraceptive pill
