Donating blood

Hello, I am new to this group, and I have a question. I’m scheduled to give blood in 2 days. I’ve never done this before and was wondering if it might exacerbate PVCs? Mine have been fairly active lately. I know drinking plenty of water is important before donating blood. Has anyone with arrhythmia given blood? And did you have any issues? Thanks.

Further to your question regarding donating blood, having an arrhythmia should not prevent you from donating, however, it will depend on whether you are taking prescribed medications, especially anti-coagulants? If in doubt, just clarify with your doctor for reassurance in advance.

Thank you! I only take a baby aspirin daily, so unless that’s a problem, I guess I’m in the clear.
