I tired Zoladex this last summer. It was torturous. My Onc said it would be a monthly shot. I got it. When I got home and looked at the chart notes from the nurse who administered it, it turns out they gave me the 3 month shot. overnight it was like all the anxiety I’d ever experienced in my life was

Hi, folks. I'm nearly 70 and in the UK, fairly fit and well except for vaginal prolapse which started to be a significant problem just over a week ago. It is difficult to get to see a GP in our local surgery because they are so understaffed. However, I did get an appointment. It wasn't very helpful.

Help with hypothyroidism & oestrogen
Good evening I was wondering if anybody has had the same experience as myself and how it was resolved. I was first given oestrogel for my peri menopausal symptoms and felt very unwell on it along with the headaches and crippling anxiety and vertigo I feel as if I'm over medicated on my levothyroxine

Latest results
Hello, would anyone be kind enough to help me with my latest results? I have had an underactive thyroid since my early 20s and I have also been diagnoses with Hashimoto's, but do these results indicate I have now gone overactive? I had a full hysterectomy a year and a half ago and I'm not sure if that

Oestrogel digestive issues
Hi, I am using a 50mg patch for half the week then a couple of pumps of ostrogel for the other half (because of the irritation the patches cause). On the gel days I have painful IBS cramps, painful bowel movements, wind, and I am binge eating sugar laden things. Is this a thing???

Cancelled cycle
Hi everyone, just wanted to see if anyone had experienced a cycle cancellation due to the risk of OHSS. After 8 days of stimulation, I've been told that my cycle had to be cancelled as too many follicles have been developing (29 were seen on the scan) and my estrogen levels were way too high (3,500

An Important thing to know if considering Estrogen Therapy.
My experience using estrogen as my only form of ADT has been positive. However, when my psa started rising and I began to feel pain in my spine and pelvis my MO put me on Zometa (bone drug IV every 3 mo). Was it necessary? I have no idea. I now get mildly sick for about 36 hours after the infusion

Bone Density - Dexa
I read somewhere that in the pre-Lupron days when DES (Diethylstilbestrol) was commonly used, bone loss was not a major issue. My 19-year history falls into three phases: i) continuous testosterone [T] ii) alternating 3-month periods of ADT & T iii) my version of BAT (LongBAT) - a single T injection

Estraderm patches or Oestrogel?
I have been using Oestrogel for the last 5 months or so but I have switched to Estraderm MX75 patches as I wasn't noticing any cognitive improvement with the Oestrogel. Does anyone know the difference between patches and Oestrogel? Do patches provide a steadier flow of oestrogen than the gel? The gel

Bone Health issues re:Bisphosphonnates, etc. ????
I'm back again for further research about the bone density medications, and now wondering about the use of bisphosphonates, denosumab and teriparatide? My PCP is suggesting these, but he's not current with the research about estrogen and testosterone use for PCa care. My backstory is that I'm suffering

Natural FET cycle straight after medicated - any successes switching regime
Hi again, Sorry for the number of posts this week - what a steep learning curve! I've been offered to start my next FET as soon as I get my withdrawal bleed. I had some difficulty tolerating the oestrogen last cycle and by the time transfer day came, I didn't feel great. I'm also quite petite (4ft 10
