Tenho 47 anos. Fui diagnosticada há cerca de 10 mas sempre senti algo "errado" comigo (achava tudo muito difícil, apesar de não ir mal na escola. Chorava desmotivadamente. Sentia tristeza mas qualquer estímulo positivo me tirava dessa). Sempre procurei meu diagnóstico (ansiedade? Distimia? Bipolaridade

Question on Absorption, Dose Increase, and Zoloft interaction. Doctor taking too much time!
Hi. Just wanted to start off by saying that I've been going through many older posts on this forum. It has been a great learning experience. While I joined two years ago I was on and off here but with the slowly lifting fog I'd like to move forward with the proper guidance. This community has been so

Newbie on here.....
This is my first time posting on here. I have been a member and been reading all of the different posts for a few weeks now. My son is 6.5, will be 7 in August. He has been on medication for the past year and a half. They started him out on methaphinate which worked so good. Then the insurance didn't

Hi everyone! The results are finally in! I decided a month after my son start Concerta 27mg to to the gene test to see if the drug is metabolizing in his system correctly. I am from Canada so the company I found is called BiogeniQ. The first week on Concerta I saw some changes but after that there

Pain in liver area
Hello all, I have been experiencing pain in my liver area, underneath the right side of my rib cage. It all started around 2 and a half years ago after overdosing concerta. It's hard to find information about whether concerta is toxic to the liver but I have found some things here and there on the internet

Hi All, My 54 year old husband has had PD for approx. 8 years. A nightmare for the most part. He suffered with such a debilitating sleep disorder that he almost lost his part job. Our family life was semi destroyed from his inability to function. He had brain fog much of the time and slept for hours

drowning
Does anyone else feel like they are drowning some days. My son who is 15 has been taking concerta 27 mg for a month. His grades have improved and at home he listens really well now. There are no behavioral issues at home and he is actually doing homework. But...at school it is a nightmare. His teachers

How long do you wait to call the doctor to say the medication is not working?
Hello. My son is 7 years old and was diagnosed with ADHD a year and a half ago. We started off on Concerta and we had seen improvements. Then we tried a higher dosage after it seemed like it wasn't working as well anymore and the teacher's feedback agreed with my observations. The higher dosage worked

Can Anxiety and ADD medicine be taken together?
Hi there. I currently am on Concerta for my ADD. Recently though I have been having a few panic "attacks", nothing over the top, but the anxiety is there. It was suggested that I take Zoloft (spelling?) to help with that. Has anyone had experience with taking both medications daily? Input is greatly

Has anyone had any benefit from Aripiprazole for combined type ADHD?
I'm currently taking Concerta 36mg XR but feel like it's not really working that well anymore. I've been told that Aripiprazole is sometimes used off-label for ADHD and wondering whether to discuss with my doctor to switch to this? Any suggestions or advice or experience would be greatly appreciated

13-year old son w/ADHD and executive function deficiencies
My son is 13 years old, was identified for "high ability" classes through 4th grade and the gifted/talented class in 5th and 6th. In 5th grade, however, his grades dropped dramatically - mostly because he was unable to concentrate and put forth the effort to understand material during the day, missed

So excited!
My 15 year old son has been on Concerta 18 mg for almost 3 weeks. Before the medication I would check the web pages for homework. The teachers post the work they are doing in class and I would check his book to see if he is done or even started. He was never done. It was a fight to get him to sit
